There were a couple of negative comments in the reviews about the higher register notes but I would have to disagree. I am a percussionist and play a glockenspiel in an orchestra and I don't have a problem with the higher notes at all - I would say that only the top three don't have a lot of resonance but they are perfectly in tune and this doesn't adversely affect the sound when playing a piece of music at all. This instrument has a lovely sound overall and is such a bargain compared to the professional brands. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great glockenspiel for the money *by S***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 February 2018* Very nice instrument, as pictured. The case it comes with is a nice touch and of good quality. I'm not an expert on Glockenspiels, but it sounds good to me! I have some basic knowledge of music and I would say the notes are all in tune and ring for a while after they're struck. I think for the money it was a very good buy. It looks good, seems sturdy and feels like an instrument rather than a toy. I like that it has 30 notes as this is almost impossible to find in the more affordable range. Most importantly, I've been having a lot of fun with it! As I'm not a professional, I can't comment on its use in that way. I will say, it's very portable which is always a plus for musicians. Also, the seller was helpful and emailed me after to make sure I was happy with my purchase.
