To celebrate their 50th band anniversary, the Scorpions are releasing a CD/DVD Deluxe Edition of World Wide Live. The high quality Digipack includes the newly remastered original album track list. The DVD comprises of the complete documentary and of an exclusive interview in which the musicians talk about the making of World Wide Live. An extensive 16 page booklet rounds the package off. It features liner notes written by Edgar Klüsener, a former editor of Germany's Metal Hammer. The Double LP comes in an original replica version with the CD in paper sleeve incl. all bonus tracks and the original poster. Review: Replacement - Used to have in on VHS but it got loaned out and never returned. Brilliant quality and now it's in a safe place. Review: Rock you like a hurricane?.... yes they do - one of the greatest live albums of all time remastered and now containing the dvd, truth be told the dvd is a bit dated now and it probably would have been better just to have the live sections. However the main attraction is the live album, bought it on vinyl the day it came out and played it to death, along with Maiden's 'Live after Death and Molly Hatchets 'Double Trouble Live' it was part of a holy trinity of live discs from 1985 The opening 6 tracks quite incredible and blow yer head off before 'Coast to Coast' takes you to the next level..'Holiday' gives you a breather then 'Still Loving You' elavtes you once again.Quite frankly they could have left it there and it would have been awesome but... They didnt and tracks such as 'Rock You Like a Hurricane' 'Dynamite' etc just keep rockin a truly epic release.

Despite of the points that could be improved, this is one of the best live albums ever.
This is a must buy item for any hard rock / metal lover. In my opinion, this is one of the best live albums ever. The typical 80's mastering sound make us feel like we are in a real live performance. I have the original release in vinyl, the VHS tape and the first CD edition of this album. Now I bought this one because of the DVD. Much better than the backup DVD-R of my VHS tape, but even so, not as good as I expected. The DVD is great and a must have item. But with all the technology from our days, I was expecting a bit more of extra quality. Also, there is no multichannel remastering sound. Only 2.0 PCM. Not a problem for me. Despite of the points that could be improved, I consider this item a 5 star one. Just buy it. You won't be disappointed.

One Of the Best Live Records Ever
In my humble opinion this is the best Scorpions release of them all. Recorded at what is probably the peak of their popularity and creative best in a time when big even rock concerts were real events. As this coincided with my relative youth and love of hard rock and metal I just about wore out the music and video tape when this was first produced. Move forward thirty years and it's still a brilliant record and video. The music is fresh and vibrant and the video captures the wonderful colourful OTT 80's before we all became depressed and serious. With songs such as Dynamite, The Zoo, Holiday and Coast to Coast, this is an essential hard rock album that should be in the library of any fan of rock and metal. Scorpions at their absolute best.

Scorpions best live CD
I'm a huge Scorpions fan and this is my favourite live cds of theirs. It includes quite a lot of their best hits and it reminds me of when I got to see them live. 😊 I also loved the behind the scenes stuff. These guys are awesome!

Great Live Album
Superb 80s cheese metal. Great production, great playing and some killer tunes. DVD not the best but put the CD on ,turn it up and relive a classic period of 1980s Germanic Metal.

A "must have" double live album.
The Scorpions were one of the best bands to see live from the "metal" genre. This album was recorded during their "Love At First Sting" Tour when they were really blowing up big. I remember watching the concert video on MTV and being very impressed with their performance and the sound quality. Fast foward to 2024, I got the itch to see what Scorpions albums were available on vinyl and was excited to see "World Wide Live" 50th Anniversary edition available. WWL is not 50 years old, I think it was the Scorpions 50th Anniversary as a band. I ordered and received my copy and it completely exceeded my expectations. Packaging and the album pressing were great. The sound quality was incredible, better than what I remembered. If you only have one Scorpions album in your collection, this is the one to have.

Excellent.
