A must for all primary teachers
This gorgeous collection of poems is a must for all primary school teachers to have on their book shelf to dip in and out of as desired (personally I could never stick to sharing just one poem a day, but it's a nice idea for those who wish to use it in such a way). The illustrations are vibrant and inviting, the poems and poets featured are varied and interesting. It's a beautifully presented book and I'm very pleased with this purchase. My only warning would be that, as it is a hardback book containing 366 poems, it is by nature very very heavy!

Inside spine damaged
Was sold second hand but ‘good as new’ The inside of the spine was damaged, could’ve happened in transit but disappointed when it arrived Other than that a good book with great pictures to enjoy reading at bedtimes

A delightful book of quirky and amusing poems for children
This is a delightful book of quirky and amusing poems for children, just right for them to read aloud or for you to read to them. One is allocated to each day of the year but you will not be able to stop them reading ahead!

Fun and engaging
This is a beautifully illustrated book of poetry, with a funny poem for each day and one for a leap year. The book is targeted at children, but equally adults will enjoy it. The images are vivid and engaging and enhance the enjoyment of each of the verses, while the poems themselves cover a wide range of topics so that there will be be something of interest to all readers in the book. I sought out the hardback edition from my local library after reading the same provided, and the same high quality is maintained throughout the physical book.

Beautiful book perfect gift
This has gorgeous illustrations and lovely poems. Some are quite short but we do them every night at bedtime and my daughter loves them.
