MegaChef Hot/Cold Water Dispenser (Silver, 5 Gallon)

It's the most functional, comfortable, and economical thing I could buy for my house, since with the dispenser my children have all their needs met.

This water dispenser did exactly what I needed it to do, and once it unexpectedly stopped doing so, the company was very quick to remedy the situation while being very pleasant to deal with. Before this issue, I never had a problem with it, and would buy another if I had to. The dispenser itself isn't the quietest thing when refilling the water reservoirs, but my dishwasher and ice maker are much louder. The paddle-style buttons are easy to use, and the tray is removable so that my largest water bottle (64 oz) fits easily. I like that the hot water temperature is a bit higher than other dispensers on the site, although I wish the cold water were a little colder; a little ice fixes that easily. All in all, I would recommend this dispenser.

The company never responded to my email. It's been 10 days. I purchased this water dispenser back on August 11, 2024. It was working very well until today, November 12, 2024. I kept hearing the water bottle kept bubbling which I only hear when the bottle is being emptied to fill the reservoir inside the machine. As I approached the machine I noticed a puddle of water on the floor and the cold water dispenser was leaking and dripping. I tried cleaning it, removing the water bottle, emptying it but nothing worked. As of now it is not able to be used. I believe I'm past the 90 day guarantee but I have contacted MegaChef in hopes that they can help me. I was happy with this product, other than the fact that the cold water is only slightly colder than room temperature. The hot water comes out very hot, which i like. Other than that it's nice and easy to use. Seems to hold and keep at least 4 cups of water cold or hot.

The dispenser came fully assembled, except for the water tray. It was very Easy to install and set up. It looks nice, doesn't take up a lot of room. I chose this dispenser because it allows the option to turn on the water for hot or cold separately, or both. It does have a pin holder for the water that you have to set into the mouth of the water jug. If you can easily lift a 5-gallon water bottle, it should be able to go on without spilling any water. It functions as expected and works great.

Nice water dispenser. It has some steel parts and some plastic, but the overall quality seems good. More compact and better looking than the one I used to rent from the water delivery company. The water flow is a bit slower and it can be a bit noisier at times, but that’s a small cost to be rid of the rental fees. No real complaints.

Hot is hot, cold is cool. I have been happy with the results. I am not sure the cold water reservoir is sufficient for frequent use. I am an empty nester and it is adequate for me, but when filling a large bottle after a quart the water is much less cool. If I had children using it a lot, I might try to find one that can provide more cold water immediately. But, for a single person or an average couple, this is probably more than adequate.

Excellent product. Keeps water temperature hot and cold perfectly. It has a very nice look , no noise. Very happy with the product. It fits 5 gallons of water.

This product is good. Water is filtered and tastes good.
