GET IT! (work around for the noise. Read below)
Awesome! Loved it within 5 mins of opening the box. Really powerful, tons of attachments for all kinds of different uses. Yes, its VERY loud on high with any attachments on the blower end. It has a very high volume of air that is being sucked in and the sound resonates to make a very high pitched, quite abrasive sound. I found a bit of a work around for that and will post pictures. Basically, you take off the regular back end cap and replace it with the fitting for deflation. You can actually "unscrew" the black hose from the fittings that are attached to it and either just use the cone shaped fitting with no hose attached or you can let the hose dangle if you done wanna take it apart. It makes a pretty dramatic difference in the noise and doesn't seem to make any difference in blowing power since the outlet on the front is not any bigger. When blowing against my arm, it still displaced the same amount of skin and hair. Its at least not enough to be noticeable. I may end up trying out some different filter foam to create some kind of diffuser but for now the deflator fitting works. Diffusing (or "breaking up") the incoming air changes the resonant frequency and can dramatically decrease all kinds of fan and blower noise and if don't properly, will not reduce air flow, just change its path a little. Another review, I think, said something about the plastic feeling cheap but I don't get that impression at all. I own many brands of professional power tools including dewalt, makita, and milwaukee and while this one seems to have a bit different "finish" to the plastic, it feels like a very solid tool. Ever since makita came out with a blower that is basically the same thing in their LXT line, I wanted it bad but they want something like $200 for their bare tool and I was just not willing to pay that for something like this. When I saw this one for this price, I jumped on it immediately since I also run many of the dewalt 20v max tools and have several batteries. Now for my only gripes, other than the noise thing, and they are pretty small and not even worth deducting a full star... maybe like half a star. 1. Needing to depress the trigger lock out switch every time for a non dangerous tool is a bit of a dumb design. It should have been a locking slide switch instead of a spring loaded "momentary " switch. That way it could be locked to throw in a bag or something and not have the trigger get pulled while bouncing around and activate the tool. Again, even if it did, it's not like its a tool with a blade or something potentially dangerous. Still, I was able to quickly adapt and work around it. There are ways to disable the lockout levers if one desires. 2. The batteries are pretty stiff and at least one of the types I have, the "compact" series 4ah (those are the flatter wider types) is so tight I probably won't use them. The XR packs are also a bit tight but workable. This will likely lossen up a bit with use or the rails can probably be lightly sanded or even use a bit of silicone grease but it still bares mentioning. 3. A true variable speed trigger with the three different speed levels would have been cooler to me than just the three fixed speeds and an on/off type trigger. Still highly usable though so not a huge deal. 4. And lastly, for me, a belt clip would have been nice to include. It has the slots for it so I may end up doing an after market one. Thats it folks. I don't do reviews that much but I was really excited about this little tool to replace the stupid and costly canned air in the house or when I'm not close to a compressor and I think it will do the job wonderfully. For the price compared to others on the market, it was a no brainer for me, especially considering, I don't think the makita version comes with nearly as many attachments. Don't quote me on that though. Go GET IT!

Disable that trigger safety!
Giving it five stars, but there a few cons you should be aware of. Pros: - Powerful! This is a leaf blower type motor that moves lots of air. Others were complaining that it didn't focus the air down to a small enough outlet. If you want that, get an air compressor. This is plenty powerful enough to do what I need which is blowing out electronics. - Well-built. This doesn't appear to be made of cheap, thin plastic. Appears to be ABS without any reinforcement, so don't expect this to be as tough as a DeWalt tool, but then it's not as expensive either. - Compact. The other alternative is an air compressor with a blower nozzle. Yeah, those are more powerful, but you can't carry it everywhere. For 90% of what I do, this has got it taken care of. - Trigger lock. With the round button behind the trigger, you just push it in and release the trigger. The blower will stay on - Versatile. The battery module is a separate part so they just change the color of the plastic being molded and the battery module and it will work with different batteries. The fit to the tool is VERY secure, though, as you can see from the pictures. - Flashlight. You're usually blowing around inside a computer with these, so having a light attached to the tool really helps. It also lights up all of the dust that blows out for that extra-good feeling! Cons: - Trigger safety = STUPID! that little lever you have to push in to get this to run is the stupidest idea ever. For fun, I took it apart to see how to disable it. You have to cut the bottom of that projection that sticks down from the lever off. Don't cut the whole thing off as you still want it in there to take up the hole. See picture. - Rough areas. Around the back of the spring loaded nozzle release, the molding was really sharp. I took the release ring off by pushing all the way back and twisting. I then filed it down. - Loose filter holder. The filter holder is loose and it will fall out when you bump it. I took a piece of thin cardboard and wedged it in there to keep it tight. - LOUD! You'd best wear ear protection with this. I used my noise-cancelling headphones and it worked even better to take the whine out of this. Sounds like a jet engine taking off. That's how you know it's working! - Loud. Did I mention it was loud? Final thoughts. I still give this five stars even though. With a little work, you can make it great, if just a little too loud to use without earmuffs. The color doesn't match the Dewalt perfect, but it's good enough for my tastes.

Good solid unit
This has been a great little tool and Iโm using it more than I expected to. Sturdy and I like the removable filter for the motor. Battery lasts longer than I expected also, consumption is very good. Itโs gotten wet due to Florida sudden weather changes annd still runs fine. Plastic is very sturdy also. Only complaint is that I wish it just a bit more strength but it is what it is.

Works Perfectly
Works with my DeWalt 20V batteries, as described, and it's POWERFUL!! It'll blow dust off anything, but you should know it is very loud. That's the trade off for having it be powerful. It's crazy that DeWalt themselves doesn't make a product like this though. It's extremely useful.

Blower not bad but controls are difficult
I really wanted to like this cordless electric blower/vacuum, but it didnโt meet my expectationsโespecially for the price. It was exactly like another blower but they both had very different price points so beware. First, I was disappointed that it doesnโt come with its own battery. It relies on a separate battery, which drained mine quickly and made me concerned about shortening the overall battery life. The blowing power is okay, but not impressive. It gets the job done for light use, but I expected more performance at this price point. Another issue is the design of the controls. The buttons are stiff and difficult to press and lock into place. If you donโt have long fingers, it can be frustrating to operate. Adjusting the speed is also inconvenientโthe button is located near the bottom above the battery and is hard to press. The weight of the item is similar to a large power screwdriver and so is the size. It is rather heavy when paired with the battery. Overall, it just didnโt perform the way I hoped it would. For the cost, I would prefer a unit that includes its own battery and offers easier, more user-friendly controls.

Awesome blower, but keep it clean!
Awesome, compact blower for the price! I am a professional painter, and used it heavily for blowing off sanding dust from projects and cleaning out my sanders and so on. It has great power for the size. The attachments are useful. It can last a long time depending on what AH battery you use. It's pretty loud but all blowers are loud to an extent so that doesn't concern me. This is my 2nd one I'm buying as the 1st one I bought finally bit the dust, literally. I think it just got caked up with so much fine sanding dust it's jamming the motor and making it 10x louder and smells like it's burning. So it's an awesome buy nonetheless! Especially if you're using it for cleaner job sites and tasks. For the money it's awesome I don't mind buying it over again as long as this brand stays on the market!

Works great! And looks Dewalt if you donโt look toooo closely
Works great with my OEM dewalt batteries. I am sure to not run the batteries down all the way, because I donโt want to test this toolโs battery protection circuit on my expensive batteries. I also disconnect the batteries after use just in case thereโs parasitic draw that I donโt know about. This blower is a bit loud, but it gets the job done and comes with useful attachments. I use it for cleaning out old electronics or to blow the garage out. The garage takes a little bit of back and forth with the nozzle attachment that is the one shown connected to the unit in the Amazon product photo. Probably could use a little more cfmโs to be a dedicated garage blower. Use it for blowing out lawn mowers, workbenches, electronics, leaves. Itโs really quite powerful

A disappointing purchase.
Very disappointed. No instructions for a product that should not require any instructions. About as powerful as a hairdryer. A bunch of nozzles for odd uses like blowing out hidden crevices. A vacuum function with with an odd filter system and hoses that did not seem to fit and make little sense. A clear plastic tube that made little sense with no explanation, because there were no explanations. Battery life was poor.

A lot of jealous looks
Took to windermere with my 3 person inflatable Kayak. Watched everone else using their foot pumps. Took them 45 minutes to inflate abd tired before taking to water. I turned up with this pump ant it was literally 40 seconds to inflate. I felt the eyes burning i to me. Really recommend this pump. Will be handy for cub camps too when parents send in air beds for kids without pump and adults have to inflate half a dozen beds
