Very happy nephew! Quality product, easyish to fly and travels at speed!

TL;DR: Believe the reviews about it flying off. This is not a good product. I bought this having read other reviews saying they experienced the drone taking off and then flying off at speed but I bought it anyway because I thought, well, the rest of the reviews are OK and I just want to have a go at flying a drone. Needless to say, the drone was completely unflyable. It took off, but was never stable. I did some trimming to stabilise it, which still had substantial drift and thought "hmm, I can work with this" so I started flying at about 2-3m height but I then turned the drone around to come back to me and it did... at pace... and kept going past me and I could not fight it. I found it in a tree about 100 m away, still trying to fly onward. I contacted customer service who did acknowledge the issue but they made little effort to rectify the actual problem. I was first offered a £20 refund which I refused, then a "FREE" replacement drone, which I did not want as it was essentially the same device but currently cheaper than what I paid for this one - but they asked me not to get a refund through Amazon so it wasn't "FREE" at all. So the moral of this review is, believe the bad reviews. This is not a good purchase, and the customer service is dubious at best.

Didn't realise no GPS home return process

I have been wanting a drone for some time I spotted this drone on amazon with 25% off and after a bit of research on YouTube I thought why not considering the price It arrived the next day well packaged In the box you get the drone,nice controller,2 batteries, charging cable, spare rotor blades and a very comprehensive and easy to understand instruction book Have only had a brief fly in my small garden so far but it is easy to control and can't wait for a nice day to go to fields and have a proper play Very pleased with my purchase

Received the drone and go to test it and check it out but after connecting and putting the battery the controller wasn't working and the drone just flew away. I contacted HollyStone customer support by ringing them and they sent me another one. Very happy with the customer service they provide and the customer service advisor was just amazing. Also, for the price of the drone the quality of the video and image is very good. Overall the drone is well worthy the price!

Flew the drone for the first time in my garden it disconnected from my phone while only 10 foot away and started flying off disconnected from the controller and crashed off about 400-500 yards away had to hunt it down
