I have tried to engage the black lid into the cap, but cap size is too small, not fit it. how to cover the screw cap.?

Make sure the part that the screw goes through Is facing out (you can stick your finger in the hole to clarify what you are looking at) . Than the cap should pop right on. If the screws are not centered you might also have issues.
