The best helmet I've owned.
This is my first time owning an LS2 helmet, and I'm so glad that I switched brands. The Advant X is amazing. The flip-around chin bar is a game-changer. It moves so smoothly up and over to its position in back, providing unobstructed airflow to your face without making the helmet top-heavy or acting like a sail in the wind - you'll actually want to ride with the chin bar up, instead of only raising it at stops. At higher speeds with the chin bar down, this is a very quiet helmet, and it is noticeably lighter in weight than any previous helmet I've owned. It is also extremely comfortable! I know that is subjective, but for the shape of my head it fits like a glove. The materials they use for the padding is also super comfortable and very nice quality. The visor is wide and doesn't obstruct peripheral vision, but it will take some getting used to operating it from the top/middle instead of from the side like other helmets. Ventilation is really good even with the chin bar down - I can actually feel the airflow difference when I open or close the vents on top and in back. The chin vent flows more air than my previous helmets ever did. My only complaint is with the chin strap. I'm still not used to the ratcheting style (I've always used double D-ring style straps) which is difficult to line up the buckle blindly. The bigger issue is how short the straps are - even in the loosest position, the straps are too tight below my jaw. I've read others complaint about that too. As always, it's recommended to try the helmet on first before buying it. I spent more money on this helmet that I have for any prior helmet, but after trying it I fell in love with it - it's definitely worth spending the extra because of the huge jump up in quality. There's really no other helmet on the market like this one. You won't regret it.

The best modular helmet I have used so far!
LS2 Advent X Helmet — I have used several brands of modular helmets over many years and I have to say this is the absolute best fitting, most solid built and quietest helmet I have used so far. I’ve only got to wear it for two rides, about 300 miles so far, so I will update the review if my opinion changes. I love the way the front windscreen hugs the helmet as it rises up and down, so it does not catch the wind like a kite or parachute. Same goes for the chin bar going all the way to the rear. The forward view is excellent open or closed. I can definitely feel the air when the top vent is opened. The cheekpads were quite tight when I first put it on, but are much better after my two rides. However, by the design, the helmet is snug to put on your head. You will have to expand the chin wings a bit, especially if you wear glasses like I do. But it is no problem. I use a Cardo Pack Talk Bold and the installation was easy and the speakers fit the pockets like a glove. I am still getting used to the ratchet chin strap. It is very easy to release, but blindly securing the straps will take a little more practice to be quick at it. I think I will like this better than traditional loop rings once I do. Esthetically, I think this is a really great looking helmet! I got the white version which has a little metallic, almost pearlescent tone to it. It is really lightweight, especially for a modular, but the quality is as good or better than any other helmet I have owned. Including some really expensive name brands. Sizing, unless you are at the very bottom of the size range parameters, I would size up. I did and the helmet feels like it was made to fit my head. No other new helmet ever has felt this good from the start. You might gather from my review that I like this helmet. I do. A lot! Oh, and did I mention it was quiet?!! I may be an LS2 fan for life now! BTW-A side note, Real Time Industries/Black Hills Moto was the seller. One word to describe them, wonderful! PROMPT shipping and I had a very minor issue and they addressed it immediately without any hassle. I would definitely buy from them again.

Great Modular Helmet with Just a Bit of Road Noise
I bought the LS2 Advant X Modular Helmet for my girlfriend, and she really likes it! It fits well, feels comfortable, and has great features. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the road noise, but that’s pretty typical for modular helmets. Overall, it's a solid choice and she’s happy with it.

Quality helmet
I just received the helmet this afternoon, 2-15-2025, and am impressed by the quality. I ordered the large size because I am between a medium and large. Fits great but a little snug as it should be. I shall go for a ride on Monday to test it out and I will then update this review. I will try to find the best bluetooth headset for this helmet. Update: I am returning this helmet only because of the chin strap rubbing against my Adam’s apple no matter what I try. The strap is too far back and,at least for me, should be moved closer to the front of the helmet. Oh well, I truly liked this helmet. Everything about it is top notch. I guess I’ll go back to my Schuberth C3 pro. Update August 1st 2025: I bought another LS2 Advant X because my wife said she may be able to help with the chin strap issue. After I unboxed it she examined it and found the chin strap padded cover was smooshed way down the strap so she moved it up,found the retaining snap to hold it in place and it fits great! Thanks to her I am super happy with this helmet and installed a Bluetooth speaker system in it. I highly recommend this LS2 Advant X helmet! Update 10-16-25: Excellent helmet and extremely happy with it! Update 11/2/25 I am still happy with this helmet. Air flow is good,it’s relatively quiet and since I live in southern Arizona a white helmet is a necessity for me. I highly recommend the LS2 Advant X.

Great piecevof equipment
I absolutely lovev this helment. The tinted visor is a nice bonus but i haven't used it due to the internal tinted visor. My Cardo system went right in but I had to use the adhesive backed bracket as the one with the clip brought too much air in even with ear plugs. The top vent and front vent allow pleanty of air flow. The 180 degree chin guard works smoothly. Overall the helmet is comfortable

My head circumference is 63cm, based on LS2 size guide I should get an XXL, even though I bought the 3XL size helmet it is small and very tight on my head!!! also the sun visor was disconnected of the helmet on one side, I thought it was broken but I found that it needed to be assembled correctly!!!
