These Smithok TRS to XLR adapters were a lifesaver for my Presonus StudioLive 24.4.2. Since all the aux sends on this mixer are TRS and not XLR, I needed a way to convert the outputs to XLR for my mixes, and these adapters did the trick. They connect securely, and I didn’t notice any issues with audio quality or signal loss. The build quality feels solid too, so I’m confident they’ll last a while in my setup. If you have gear that requires converting TRS to XLR, especially with a mixer like this, these adapters are a great choice!

These are perfect for my needs which was sending an Aux send from a 1/4 Mixer output to an XLR IEM input. They seem solidly built. Due to the nature of the adapter, I would not recommend pulling on the cable while they are plugged in as this is likely to bend any adapter constructed in such a fashion. Mine arrived straight and went into my gig bag. I used one Saturday and it was great. No noise.

Gets the job I need done. Good amount of adapters for the price.

I received they in a timely manner, they were exactly as described, they worked as they should. I thought the quality of the product was good very durable and well made

Have not tried them all but the two I have tried so far work fine.

I wanted to like these but I only used them once then the next time I plugged it in to a 1/4" input jack the male end came loose and pushed back inside the body of the unit making it useless. In an emergency I was able to use needle nose pliers to grasp the shaft and hold it allowing me to insert it enough to make the connection but it was almost a disaster since I needed both of them for this performance and had no backup.

You HAVE to put the XLR end on first because the 1/4" end won't take any pressure at all . With very little force ,I have had 2 of these cave in. They pop right back into place,but these are for a monitor send and I don't need to worry about them giving out during a show. That said,after learning my lesson and putting the xlr end in first,they work fine . Because of the failure, I have ordered another brand that is 90 degrees so I can't put downward pressure on the connector or my board to use them.
