Ideal for desk use, and probably a lot more
So my history of speakers (for Desktop PC use) is I owned a Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 and Logitech Z623 set up, probably on a recommendation of good audio on a budget. But it's been so long who knows? I'm not disappointed in them. The Klipsch sub failed and kept causing weird noises so I replaced it with Bose Companion speakers in a pinch and just sort of... forgot they weren't that great. Then life goes on. I found these speakers through a lot of research. It has a lot of strengths. It will connect to pretty much anything through any means (Bluetooth, RCA, Optical, USB). It has a small footprint ideally suited for desktop PC use. It's a powered speaker so it doesn't need any external equipment like an amp to work. And a lot of audiophiles claim it has amazing sound. It was difficult for it not to catch my attention. The research also seems to imply this has a lot of impressive sounding features and people say it has a lot of tech packed into such a small package. Don't know enough about audio to tell you what they mean - I'm sure there's no shortage of reviews that will explain that end. I do know these sound really good, though. I can't find anything that competes with the Vanatoo Transparent Zero+ for my needs. The other two on the short list were the Klipsch Fives and Kanto TUK. Ultimately the Kanto TUK was a lot more money and I couldn't find a substantial reason it was worth it over the T0. The Fives just are much larger and therefore not as appealing for this use case. I did buy some Kanto YU2s because it connects through USB (and has an even smaller footprint than these) and while it is much more impressive than the Bose Companion speakers it left me wondering how much better it could get if it had a bit more robust of a sound and a bit of bass. So now I use these Vanatoo's for the desktop. I'm not an audiophile. I don't really know how to describe sound. It sounds pretty amazing. I put the bass and treble up about 7 decibels. Not really sure if that's unholy for something people call a flat speaker and are prized for it. Oh well. Such is life. They sound incredible to me like this. Supposedly they are even better with a sub. I might find out one day. This speaker is definitely for you if you want amazing sound at a compact size and need a variety of ways to connect it. It even has auto switching features if you're using it on multiple devices. Take it from a random guy on the internet who dug through all the pretentious sounding reviews filled with hobby specific jargon to find these so you didn't have to.

Great speaker quality
Great speaker quality. I really would like to reach out to Vanatoo to see if it's possible setup additional ZP speakers into a full 7.1 surround configuration! Either way, these speakers are worth the price if you want the best quality stereo desktop speakers.

100% WORTH IT
Works perfectly as a studio monitor and is A LOT better than a sound bar for TV. Sound is great! Low end is deep enough that a sub is not needed, but HIGHLY recommended (especially if used on TVs). Mids are solid. They do have a slight hump in the 6k region. It is nothing I would worry about, tho. The Imaging on them is INSANELY good. But you do need to position them perfectly, otherwise you can tell the center is a centimeter off (yes, this is a compliment). Lastly, they sound a lot bigger than they are, like big bookshelf speakers I believe the true value of these guys is in their flexibility (for nearfield and small rooms, obviously).

Big things do come in small packages
If you are looking for a desktop set up, look no further. They fit neatly on each side of my monitor, perfect size for a desktop. These are some high-end speakers for a fraction of the high-end price. While the bass is fine as is, I like to feel a bit more hum if you know what I mean, so I paired this with an Edifier T5 ($160 on sale). With hardly any volume on the sub, the result is exactly what I was looking for. I could not be happier with the result. If you opt to add a sub, you will need to buy the appropriate RCA cable depending on the inputs on your sub. I use the free FX Sound app for my equalizer to fine tune, although you can tune with your ears on the included remote. I was willing to pay thousands more for the quality of sound I spent less than $700 on. I usually play these speakers only at a fraction of the volume seeing how they are only about 2 feet from my ears, but if and when you want to turn them up, these babies will blow your hair back!

BEST DESKTOP SPEAKERS FOR THE PRICE
Designed by two engineers this is artisan level construction and materials. Well thought out design, without a need for an audio interface. These are the best desktop speakers I've had. Used the Kanto Oras for some time but there was always clarity missing. With these you get everything! Bass, clear vocals, loud enough to fill a living room apartment. Can make adjustments with the controller. Bought it for prime day for $399 and do not regret it at all. Pay the premium you won't regret it either.

Solid Choice Among its Rivals
So I bought these together with the Kanto Oras. While they were both pretty good. I liked the sound signature of the T0 Plus a lot better. It was a bit warmer but with the aluminium cones but it still provided a nice sharp details of highs and mids. The Oras were no go for me for a few reasons. One was the sound signature was headsplitting for me. It give me a headache right away after turning it on. After using an Equalizer, the headaches got better but it was still present. It also was made with full plastic which made it look and feel very cheap. The Vanatoo on the other hand was hefty and felt very premium. The Vanatoo doest have the best bluetooth connection but it does the job pretty well. All in all, I went and tried many many speakers and am very happy with this one. The unique design an solid sound from these speakers are well worth it.

Great bass for size and price
Still the best for the sound, size and cost if you are not looking for a subwoofer

Great with EQ, Average Otherwise
Out of the box vocals were very muddy and muffled sounding, no amount of fiddling with the treble and bass settings on the speaker could get a sound profile I was happy with, even with limiters disabled and flat DSP. After a bit of research, I found an EQ profile on SPINorama for the Vanatoo T0+ that I applied through SoundSource on my Mac. Wow, these sound incredible after EQing, crisp vocals, incredible separation, big soundstage. Have these paired with a Rythmik L12 and everything pulls together beautifully.

This is easily one of my best audio purchases yet. I have a very limited amount of desk space so I was worried about fitting these in and how they would sound in a cramped space, however they easily fit under each side of my monitor and sound fantastic. The imaging is out of this world, especially the phantom center and I was even able to play some games with them. After breaking up a subwoofer from my home system was when these really shined though and sounded absolutely insane, even competing with my tower speaker setup. I also have to note that I contacted vanatoo after I thought I was having issues with the speakers (put the screws back in if you take out the handles/stands lol), and they sent me back a very polite email in a timely manner. Honestly, if your like me and want really good sound but cant find any other small desktop options that suit your needs, these will be perfect.

Solid buy for its class. Great power and clarity for its size. I love their build and style too. Lots of options for input as well, 3.5mm, usb, optical, bluetooth, RCA. They did not skimp on this product. For anyone who is in the market for desktop speakers, this is a great choice.

I believe I received an open box item, the speaker isolation pads were missing and they were very dusty. Also not sure if some cables were included but all cables except the power one was missing.
