I get a lot of compliments about this. it is perfect for those meals you get from places like Cookunity. It's nice even heat and no knobs. It's literally set it and forget it. There is nothing to mess up. I agonized for a long time before I bought this because there are fancier (more expensive) ones, and huge ones out there. This is perfect for on the go. 20-25 minutes seems to be a nice sweet spot. I usually put beef above the metal on top of something of else to keep it from getting too done. However, i've left it in there for over an hour and it didn't burn. I'd imagine it will eventually burn like any oven, but it's hard to mess this up. One tip is to add a little water (tiny bit). It sort of steams things like rice and veggies and so when you open it up, there is a pressure nozzle that pops up and releases the water. It could not be simpler. at first, I really thought i must be doing it wrong because i couldn't imagine it was so easy to deal with. A heater, pan, a plug, a plastic thingy to put on top and then a lid. Pop the lid back in, plug it in and wait a few minutes. Beats the crap out of a microwave.

It works perfectly! From experience with the Crock-pot brand, I know I can count on using it safely for decades. Yes, I did also buy an unknown cheaper brand with more features and there are problems. I'm using this electric lunchbox at home with an upcoming kitchen remodel on the horizon. How I use it so far. I place a layer of frozen non-starchy vegetables on the bottom and then a rectangular frozen meal on top (like Amy's). Close it up and check on it later, stir, repeat. Even frozen round meals such as Amy's Bowl meals work. I just lay the lid over it, plug it in and come back to it being softened enough to push edge of food in and then close the lid. Everything seals well. I haven't carried the lunchbox anywhere except inside the house, however the lid fits well and gaskets look great. So far I've been using frozen foods to heat up. Cooks without letting any food smells escape. The lunchbox is a handy size and weight when full. Guessing the wattage of this product based upon stated wattage used by similar products, it seems like it uses 50-80 watts to heat a refrigerated meal in half an hour+ or a frozen meal in an hour or so. I just check on it, stir it, and add a tiny bit of water if needed. I expect it to take longer in winter.

This is great for reheating and like cooking soups. Seals great to not leak and so easy to plug in and work till you need it.

This really does the job well. I use this mostly for my premade fresh meal subscription that has microwave and oven instructions. It is the perfect size for a single person. I find that about 90 minutes is ideal for delicate proteins you want to keep tender. I don't think this would matter for somehting like chili. I once had a chicken dish that I left in there for a few hours and I found the chicken to be tough. But it was a single occasion, so I do not know if that is how the chicken was or if heating it for a longer time made it tough. If my dish has rice or other grain that might dry out, I add a splash of water to the dish. The only complaint is how the inner dish lid attachs. When it is cold, it can be difficult to unlock and I have to fiddle with it. However it seems to be easier to open once it has warmed my meal. I do not have issues with the outer latches as some people state. It was tight when I initially received it. But it has a big sticker on it instructing you to apply pressure on the lid to make it easier to open. Then inner pan has gotten marks on it. I do not know how to describe it. But I washed it in the dishwasher one time and at other times I hand wash it with a dishcloth and dish soap and usually let it air dry. I think the marks indicate a lower quality stainless steel but I could be wrong. Overall I am very happy with this product. I do wish the inner dish was a little better designed, but I can live with it. I would pay more for this product with a better inner dish. I would also be willing to purchase multiple inner dishes so I can store my meals in the fridge in them. Oh and you can do that; store the inner dish/lid in the fridge until you are ready to heat it up.

I ordered this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and he loves it! It is perfect to use for his work lunches! And the stainless steel insert and lid are dishwasher safe, top rack! Since using - he has saved so much money from eating out.

This was a gift for my brother since he works on the road delivering fuel to homes. He has enjoyed the benefit of a warm meal and not having to find a gas station to use the microwave to reheat hit lunch. Definitely worth the money!

Works great, would like one with a timer but works perfect for lunches. Wish you could buy additional containers (inside piece with lid). You could have one for breakfast and one for lunch.

While it was advertised as 220v it turned out to be only 110v suitable for use only in the USA. Don’t buy it if you live anywhere else. Very disappointing!

Keeps food hot/warm for a very long time. I highly recommand this!

La mejor inversión que pude hacer, trabajo en obra y no hay donde calentar, pero siempre hay tomas eléctricas, está lonchera es lo mejor como ya calientito, le doy 20min y sin problemas si la quiero más caliente con 45min es suficiente pero ya está muuuuuy caliente. El material de siente de buena calidad, solo llego sin su caja solo así como se muestra en la foto me imagino para no pagar impuesta.

UN producto que me ha salvado de comer mi comida fría, sin duda el regalo perfecto para alguien que necesite transportar sus alimentos a otro lugar y quiera comerlos calientes, lo único que me gustaría es que saquen un modelo para poder divir alimentos ya lo demás esta peefecto
