Mizuno Men's Wave Legacy Shoes

The Mizuno waves are very comfortable with a perfect fit. They are very easy to clean and the quality of the product and Manufacturing is second to none. Mizuno made the wave legacies Very light with no problems or issues with tired or sore feet after wearing them all day and can be used for almost any outdoor activities including low grade hiking with superior wet terrain grip. I used these wave legacy in Sadona AZ. On flat and low grade hikes and had zero issues with grip. The wet grip while running is also superior. Extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend you give them a buy. The Mizuno wave legacies are a very safe blind buy.

My new favorite shoes. These are everything you would expect in a shoe costing $150. Shoe prices have gone crazy so I was happy to find this brand that provides great cushioning and support for a daily walking shoe. The size fit perfect and the quality appears to be there although i have only worn them for several weeks. Many colors to choose from too. I've always worn New Balance shoes but lately the product quality has gone down while their prices have gone up. The wide sizes from Mizuno work just as good as NB.

These may be keepers. First impressions of my pair lay out as follows: Very comfortable for a medium width foot with a long, lowish arch. Almost too loose in the heel, but using the heel lock (that extra lace hole) fixes that. The heel counter is among the best. And the heel collar is thick enough to feel supportive and secure, but not so thick as to feel confining or bulbous. The insole is of average quality; best to replace it with a serious insole. The tongue isn't gusseted, but it's wide enough to cover my instep and leave no sock showing. And there's a keeper loop on the tongue(s). The midsole has enough squish to ease joint pain from heel strikes, but not so squeezey as to feel like all the new mega-foam midsoles, the massive squishy foam density of which only serves to stress the metatarsal's and cause aching and pain, especially if you're a walker. The outsole leans toward cheap--1 to 1.5mm, and probably won't last over 100 miles. Nice features include a vertical reflective stripe on the pull loop, and the trademark "Wave" insert that runs half the length of the midsole. To me, this version of the wave provides a quick three-prong sequence: landing stability, shock absorption, and minimal rebound. About the wave plate: I think the application of the plate could be much better. On my pair its edges aren't sculpted to make it look like it disappears smoothly into the insole. In other words, it looks crudely applied. On the other hand, it feels effective. Whether it stays in place over the long haul, I can't say.

Good shoes. I sized these with all my other tennis shoe types and it runs true to size for me. Walked around for several hours with no hot spots, or rubbing issues. The shoes are very comfortable and look good as well. The support is good and connects well with all parts of the foot. The durability is the only issue because my big toe comes up against the fabric mesh construction, and this construction, while very comfortable, is also thin. I have another pair of Nike that have worn a hole through the fabric right where my big toe pushes up. I have no doubt based on common sense and physics, that this pair will eventually do the same in time.

These are great. Feet are pretty touchy. I can wear most Nike's, but a couple of the other brands just don't work for my feet. I bought a much earlier model that this shoe has now replaced, as a running shoe about 10 year ago. I went to a dedicated running store, thinking I would walk out with one of the popular pairs like Saucony,New Balance, Hoka or even Nike. I had worn Saucony running shoes for years. I did a "blind" test and ended up walking out with the Mizunos (didn't even know they made running shoes - familiar with their golf clubs and baseball gear). Unfortunately other physical issues forced me to slow my run down to a daily walk. I wore them alternately with a pair of Nikes for walking and they have always been comfortable. Indeed so much so that I have now "assigned" them to my travel-only walking shoes (I like their color and style and didn't want to completely wear them out). Long story short, I knew I wanted another pair of Mizuno shoes. This pair was as close as I could get to the old ones. I need a wide toe - box and when I first got them, I thought they might be too narrow. But one time walking in them convinced me they give me just the right amount of support. I am very happy with them and the price point is right.

Terrible running shoes. Shoe strings too slick and become untied every time they are worn. Tongue too slick and slides to outside of foot every time they are worn. I’m tired of stopping every time I run to deal with these problems so writing to say they are not worth the price. How did these pass production inspection?

Super comfortable and the wide is definitely wide. I bought the 16 Wide and the wide width is wider than every other wide shoe I own, even some that were labeled extra wide. I have other sneakers in wide and they’re never wide enough. These fit more like an XX wide in other brands. I have also washed these 4 times in the washer and they have held up great and still very comfortable and easy to walk in. I don’t run, I bought them because of the wide option and I am very satisfied.

Nervous why you ask? Well I stuck with looking for informatinn on this sue because I wasnted a red shoe with white foam. Simple and classic. Now the nerious part. There is no information on any mizuno site about them. there are no reviews. no comparisons. Nada.. Best I can surmise they are made for Amazon only. But I did the leg work with the foam, upper, the running plate and even comared other "wave" shoes for profile. Now the good news. I'm 6' 250lbs man. the second i put them on they were comfortable. Easily as good as my Brooks Ghost 15's. So don't fret if you got no info to find. Been on my feet all day. Light and comfortable Oh and I am a diabetic as well with inserts fit fine. I was looking for another white pair of workout shoes to replace my Under Armour pair that l used for some years and wanted to try a different brand and saw these Mizuno trainers. It's been just over a month using them mainly for workouts and spin classes and have been pretty happy with the results for the most part. Nice looking shoes, comfortable, light weight, fits well. The only minor thing to mention is that this type of material seems to "scuff" pretty easily, so if you're the type of person that likes to keep the shoe fairly clean and white, some on-going cleaning will be necessary.

Lo compré pensando que sería como las ULTIMA WAVE 7 y aparte de ser 60 (aprox.) euros más caras, no recoge tan bien el pie ni te dan la sensación de estar pisando una nube como en el caso de las wave 7. Más caras y no tan buenas. Un poco desilusionado...
