Super Maize Meal 1kg - Pack of 2

We have loved this for years, including when we lived in S. Africa. We make a creamy breakfast porridge from it, and it is indispensable in S. Africa as either a thick ('Stywe pap') or crumbly ('krummel pap') cooked texture , with tomato and onion gravy/sauce ,when we have a BBQ ('Braaivleis'). Can also use it as you would polenta, as it is much the same but not yellow. Lovely stuff.

Half expected to receive these battered. Nope they came before the expected time and in super condition. Great taste of home.

I haven’t used it yet to make porridge. That is what we used it for where I come from. I ordered it specifically to bake corn bread or ‘mealie bread’ as I know it to be called and it turned out fine. Gave one bag to a friend who also enjoys it made as a porridge and she is very happy with it.

Arrived on time and in two layers of plastic to protect from the rain.

South African pap good with Braai meat

Ordered the one in picture got different packaging and it’s horrible taste .throw all of in the Dustbin it was 11kg .use the original packaging,you miss leading people with that packaging.the deon the order you get that Nonsense

Iwisa is a really good Mielie meal. Cooks well as krummel pap or Stywe pap. Also good for pirridge
