Midori Journal Door, Red (black)

I bought this for my wife because my brother bought me one and I loved it. It is designed with a lot of care. We both use ours everyday. It perfect when you don't have a ton of time to write, but you still want to capture life. So far it's been plenty durable, and it feels like it with hold up for years to come. I really like the case that is comes with, I can store it vertically on my side table.

This Midori 5-Year Journal is an elegant and classy way to capture your daily events and highlights. It comes in a lovely hard cardboard sleeve. The hard cover has a fabric covering with gold embossing. The pages are high quality with an off white, almost vintage colour. The lines and art printed onto the paper has a hand-drawn look to them, giving this journal a lot of character. My gel worked great with this paper but will need to dry else the ink the transfer to other page when closed. Not a problem with this journal but with the pen ink I'm using.

Beautiful daily diary. Quality is top notch and is compatible with my fountain pen. Makes daily journaling feel special.

El diario llegó a tiempo y en buen estado. El diario primero está hecho de un material muy bueno, al tacto vez la calidad de estos, además sus páginas son muy bien diseñadas, y lo más importante que es un diario a 5 años donde puedes ver lo que se escribió el mismo día pero en diferente años.

This was such a great surprise! It's actually stunning! Comes in slipcover case and looks far more expensive than its price. Very classy look. Solid. Well-made. Pages are sewn, not glue; it feels like a hardcover book. The pages easily stand up to fountain pen. The size makes it very easy to travel with or put in bag. I was going to give it as Christmas gift but when I saw it, NO WAY! It's mine now!! Would highly recommend either as gift or for self..Seriously, one of the most attractive and well made journals I've ever purchased. (Its size does limit the space for each entry but am thinking it would be perfect as day timer rather than 5 yr journal!) No hesitation in saying "Go for it!" on this one. (And I have received no "deal" or "freebie" for this review..It's simply a really nice item.)
