As previously noted, yes it can be wide band configured through methods prev mentioned and so can cover the maritime VHF segment - assuming you are intending Rx only, since the radio isn't TA approved for maritime usage (note, since there are listed items specific for maritime use, the considerable difference in price between the RT95 and a maritime VHF set).

Note:- If you ever intend, after using it widebanded,  to resell it used, remember to return it factory reset back to a capped/restricted set status - again for legal reasons.

If that's your intent, Rx of maritime traffic, there's plenty of preset memories to add the specific channels as presets, ditto for PMR446 FM and the VHF/UHF 'LMR' allocations such as PMR, again set for Rx only for legality reasons.
