*** Update: After using these pens daily for almost 3 months they started to run out and go dry. I will absolutely be repurchasing them because they wrote the same up until the end. The highlighters still have ink left in them, and I have not noticed any chances to the tip after multiple uses. Original: These pens are pretty. The pastel gives soft and aesthetic vibes. I use them for journaling and during Bible study note-taking sessions. The write speed is excellent. The ink flows smoothly, and you can move quickly across the page without any skipping. For someone who writes a lot of notes at once, that is a big plus. The thickness of the ink lines is consistent. You will not get ultra-thin precision like a fine-tip pen, but you also will not feel like you are writing with a fat highlighter. They dry quick, and they are not overly inky. They are not 100% smear resistant, but after not even a few seconds it has dried already. The overall quality is great! The colors pop, and they do not feel like those inky markers that fade after a few strokes. They hold their pigment well, and even the lighter pastel shades stay legible. The only color that does not show up as much is the grey highlighter. I have to go over it twice to make it darker, but the grey pen shows up wonderfully and it is my favorite one to use. In terms of thickness and control, these pens do an excellent job balancing both. I especially like using them for underlining or margin notes, since they do not bleed into the surrounding text unless you really press hard. Still, on very thin paper, you will see some ghosting, so they are not truly bleed-proof as advertised. However, I do not notice this when using them in normal paper. They are comfortable to hold even after using them for lengthy periods of time. These pens surprised me. I was not expecting this decent quality of pen and highlighter for as cheap as they were.

The pens were fine, but all the highlighters were dried out on opening. I bought them for a wedding guestbook Bible and didn’t open the package for just over a month after receiving, so it was too late to return them. After posting this review with a low rating, the seller reached out to me to explain a bad batch and offer a refund or replacement. I opted for replacement. I received the replacement quickly, and all the highlighters are fine with plenty of in life. The colors are very pretty and light, and it really doesn't bleede through the thin pages of a Bible. These are great for my bible study. They don’t bleed through, it does take a second to dry but not long.

The BLIEVE Aesthetic Highlighters and Gel Pens set has a cute, pastel design that looks great on any desk, and the soft ink gives a smooth, pleasant writing experience once it starts flowing. The colors are vibrant and fun for journaling or note-taking. However, the ink often doesn’t flow right away—you have to scribble a bit to get it going, which can be frustrating, especially when you're in a hurry. After that initial effort, they work reliably. Decent for the price, but could use better priming out of the box.

I hadn’t explored pens and highlighters for Bibles in years, and I found this set to be really nice. I use the gel pens for note taking in my journal as well, and they work great. The gray pen is a bit difficult to see at times, and the gel ink gets dry a bit easily, which impedes writing and underlining a bit if you’ve put them down for at least a minute. They and the highlighters do bleed a little on really thin paper, but it’s not bad. The light color scheme is genius because it can be seen on the pages you want, but the bleed doesn’t bother the eye on following pages. Overall, they’re a bit moderate in quality but very useful, and even though this wasn’t my first choice of color scheme, I’ve grown to like it a lot.

I really wanted to love this pen and highlighter set because the colors are beautiful and vibrant. Unfortunately, the quality doesn’t match the look. After very limited use, the ink started running out much faster than expected, making the pens nearly unusable. For the price, I expected something that would last longer. Great color, but poor longevity. I wouldn’t repurchase.

The colors are super fun! ive been using these for a couple of months, and all of the sudden, 3 of the highlighters stopped working. Two of them split, or dried out in the middle. And one of them just died. The pens, when I first got them worked great, but barely use them now. The pens die intermittently. I’m not sure if I’ll buy more, I don’t feel like they’re the best, but I have things that I’ve consistently used those colors for, so I don’t really want to change them. But I might just end up getting Mr Pen highlighters.

UPDATING: When I first got these I really liked them but 8 months later the pens and highlighters are dried out or not working properly. Definitely could find much better ones for this price. Good to know I am not the only with issues with them. Sadly I won't repurchase. The pens or the highlighters don't bleed through your paper. I like the colors of then pens and highlighters. I like that they match. Use them all the time when I am annotating. My only complaint would be that I wish they would mark the names of the color of them. Definitely will be repurchasing. Great value for the what you get.

The highlighters in this set were not very good at all. 2 out of 5 worked. The others were completely dry. I’m hoping by leaving them upside down for a while they will begin to work. The pens were good. The colours were pretty and wrote well. They had a very sticky wax at the tip that was a bit of a challenge to get off.

I absolutely love the gel pens! They write so well and are awesome colors! I want to love the highlighters as well, however, both times I’ve ordered, the highlighters are dried out, straight out of the package (See picture) It was worth it just to order for the pens though because they truly are awesome! Just don’t expect much from the highlighters!

Just received these in the mail yesterday, and had a chance to try them out today. I love the way these pens look and feel to grip while writing. The style is VERY nice. But the ink doesn't come out of the pens uniformally, and I've found myself having to go back over everything I write multiple times to fill in the blank spots. The highlighters were the biggest disappointment. Every single one of them was COMPLETELY dried out. Not worth the plastic they were wrapped in. They went straight into the garbage. A waste of money, sadly. I had pretty high hopes for these one ... but I was very disappointed. Guess I'll be going back to Mr. Pen. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Positives: Inexpensive pens. They do not bleed through - so if using for bible journaling they are great. 3 of the highlighters are light enough to highlight in the bible. However 2 of the highlighters are too dark to highlight properly and one of the highlighters was dry and the click of the pens is sticky sometimes you have to push the pen point to close it. All in all for 10$ they are great.
