Well made product and extremely easy to use. Comes with three Maxtra Pro filters which, bought alone, would cost almost as much as this kit, making it excellent value at the reduced price paid. Water tastes pretty neutral once filtered. Our tap water has a pretty strong chlorine taste which I found extremely unpalatable & the filter seems to completely remove it so it's obviously doing a decent job. Apparently removes copper, lead and other nasties from the water supply too. I'm no longer going to be drinking bottled water since reading of microplastic contamination! This seems a very worthwhile product if you drink a lot of water (which we obviously should to stay healthy)

This was my third brita water filter. First stopped filtering after about 18 months. Second never filtered, sent back to amazon and refunded. This one stopped filtering after 4 weeks, but in irritation I pulled up the filter and rammed it back down like a piston. All started working beautifully again. Certainly worth using to improve water quality and taste.

I’ve been using the BRITA Marella Water Filter Jug (Graphite) for a few weeks now, and honestly, I wish I’d bought it sooner. Living in a hard water area, I’d gotten used to that faint metallic tang in my tea — but no more! The difference in taste is immediately noticeable, and my kettle is no longer furred up with limescale after two uses. I love the sleek graphite colour — it looks much nicer than the usual white jugs and actually matches my kitchen appliances. It fits comfortably in the fridge door, and the digital indicator on the lid is a brilliant feature because let’s face it, I’d absolutely forget to change the filter otherwise. This filters very quickly, but be aware just reset filter again as filter good for more than a month, good for 150 litres. Even when full top and bottom, pours beautifully. Just wish it was a little bigger, but good size for the fridge door. This is the better colour way.
