This is helpful in combing through small knots. It surprised me in a good way. It does not leave a residue.

3 stars for the Lovely smell but unfortunately did not help with the matted fur at all. Left my cats fur feeling stiff and tacky , he looks worse than before unfortunately.

This stuff is amazing. My long haired cat is brushed everyday but still manages to get knots and matts. I spray the detangler onto the brush and just brush it into the knots/matts and they are gone in seconds. Its a miracle (and so satisfyingwhen they come out). It smells so nice and the drama of trying to brush out knotty or matted fur is a distant memory. I would definitely recommend.

Used before this one is ideal for cats, as truly a cat safe product. Easy to use as a mist over cats fur, no matter what length of fur

It’s nice though it has a very strong scent, which my cat hates. But it did the job in helping me shave his heavily matted areas. I noticed it made the fur very dry the next day, which made it a lot easier shave off big lumps.

Excellent product. My 18 year old cat's fur was becoming dull and matted, but after 2 sessions with this spray he looks sleek and shiny like he used to. He doesn't mind being sprayed with it and isn't bothered by the scent. In fact, the grooming has encouraged him to groom himself again.

I was very skeptical about this product. However, when I used it on my long-haired cat, it worked very well, one spray where she had mats and they brushed right out. The only problem I have is that my cat does not like the noise when you spray it. I would purchase it again.
