It’s plastic and cost is on bit higher side.But with cost there is quality too.Looks wise it’s not flashy or one might feel did I pay so much for this item , since it’s not heavy .That was one of criteria for us , hand shower should not be heavy.our 5 year kid loves using the shower since it is light weight. Water pressure is good too .All in all good experience until now.Need to see how it holds in coming days .Since it comes with good number of years of warranty, trust it’s stays as it is now.You need to order shower head and pipe . There is option of ordering together.
