I tried to charge it when I received it with my Apple wall charger and it would not charge so I thought I had to put my phone in the case first..still wouldn’t charge. I then tried to charge it with my Apple car charger and it still wouldn’t charge.Maybe it was a defective case because I had ordered 2 in error and the other one came today.Plugged it in without my phone and it seems to be charging so hopefully I have better luck with this one.It does also add a little weight to the phone.The next day I received an email from the company asking to rate the item and saying if I was “100% happy” they would make it right..I replied quickly and have not heard back from them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits the iPhone 8 Plus perfectly , Light Cable friendly 🙌🏾 *by C***L on February 4, 2018* I think what sets this battery case apart from it’s more expensive competitor is that; it uses the lighting cable that you already have for your phone. So charging is now seemless. It also seems to provide all around better protection of your device if a drop does occur.
