Perfect Upgrade from a Single-Serve Coffee Maker
I shopped around for quite a while before deciding on this Cuisinart, and I’m really happy with my purchase. I previously had a single-serve Keurig that I loved and had forever, but now that both my boyfriend and I work from home, making one cup at a time just wasn’t cutting it anymore. K-Cups were getting expensive, and using ground coffee in a reusable pod every time we wanted another cup became tedious. I love that this gives us the best of both worlds. We can make a full pot of coffee in the morning but still have the single-serve option when one of us just wants a cup of tea or something different. We haven’t tried the iced coffee feature yet, but I love having the option. One of my favorite features is the programmable timer. We have ours set to start brewing every morning at 6:00 a.m., so the coffee is ready when we get up. It’s such a small thing, but it makes our mornings so much easier. The price was reasonable for everything it does, and I also love that it comes in white. My kitchen is mostly white, so it fits in perfectly and has a really clean look on the counter. The only issue we’ve noticed is that a small amount of water can leak from the bottom when we move the machine. It hasn’t been enough to be a big deal for us, but it is something worth mentioning. Overall, I would absolutely recommend it, especially for a household with more than one coffee drinker. It was exactly the upgrade we needed from our single-serve machine.

Great coffee maker, but not in white
Great coffee maker but do not buy it in white!!! Every splatter shows up, even if you wipe it after brewing… the spring mechanism releases splatter every time you put the carafe back on the coffeemaker. The coffee also stains…even though we soak it and wash the pot and lid after each use, the area where the coffee drips through the lid is starting to discolor after only a month of use!! Taking the lid completely off can lead to a mess if someone forgets to put it back on before brewing…the water will overflow the drip area, leaving coffee grounds everywhere…under the drip basket. We had to take all the pieces apart to find why we were still getting grounds in our coffee days later….we thought we had cleaned it all!! Lastly, there is a lip at the top of the pot which does not allow the water to completely empty. Turning the pot 100% upside down does not help… water collects in the rim. These design flaws make it hard for me to live thus coffee maker… it looks fabulous in my kitchen, but….. maybe in black next time, but more likely a different one altogether

Best one yet!!!
We have had this for almost 3 years and I've never loved a coffee maker til this one. Didn't think I'd like the white as much but I would buy again. Works as it should, and no leaking issues. When I life the top to empty the grounds, I always have a paper towel to dry off top and back lip to prevent water from rolling down the back; it's just condensation. I have found we have to alter the amount of the coffee recently but not sure if it's the brewing or the coffee itself. We are thinking the coffee has cheapened in it's flavor. Other than that, makes individual cups great, just pierce the k-cup with the mechanism before brewing. I prefer using my own coffee over the kcups but either works. Would highly recommend!

Disappointed in this Cuisinart
I’ve had this for about a year and bought it because I thought it would look great in my kitchen, which it does. Problem number is that this beautiful white coffee maker comes with a black cord which completely detracts from the white and silver, as far as the looks go. It works ok, but it’s very difficult to keep it clean, as coffee splatters everywhere when using the pods and the coffee pot lid always looks dingy. You can’t take off the part where you set a smaller coffee cup when using the pod and the only way you clean that area is using a Q-tip or something super small and annoying. It also stays very wet with condensation on the inside of the place where you fill the water, after you’ve brewed your coffee - if you don’t wipe it down regularly, you’re going to have problems with mold growth. I’ll probably be giving this away and we’ll look for something else. I just expected better from this brand.
