I’ve used this spreader three times so far, and it does exactly what it promises. It’s fairly easy to use, and I really like the ability to adjust both the speed and the spread pattern depending on what I’m putting down. The edge guard feature is also a nice touch—it helps keep material off sidewalks and driveways. I’ve used it for fertilizer, seed, and a fertilizer/seed mix without any issues. One of the main reasons I bought it was because it runs on DeWalt batteries, which I already own, and it works flawlessly with them. Overall, a reliable and convenient tool that makes spreading much easier. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a battery-powered spreader.

I used this to spread calcium chloride in the winter and lawn fertilizer and grass seed in the spring. I works great. It has a really handy feature that will restrict the pattern to get whatever you are using to where you want it to go. A little over a quarter of an acre of spreading and I still had 2 bars left on an aftermarket dewalt battery and it will shoot fertilizer a good ten feet in a half circle pattern. I will never use a manual spreader again.

At 68 yrs old, having many health issues, can no longer walk my property with standard feeders. Legs in bad shape for the push unit & arthritis in hands cramp while using hand crank unit. Was recently telling friend that I wished they came out with an automatic seed shooter for grass seed & granule weed & feed. Low and behold, while searching for attachment for riding John Deere mower this unit came up. Made this a total game changer. Am able to ride mower while pulling trigger of spreader which works beautifully. Unit very reasonable in price & uses batteries which most homes already have for their other yard tools. Just make sure to order correct color of unit to match the different manufactures equipment you have on hand so that batteries fit correctly. You can go into seller's store to find exactly the color you're looking for. With the 2 dials (1 for opening to release seeds & 1 for distance), makes this a perfect addition to your homes exterior yard equipment.

Works well. No issues with the spreader; I wish it had more capacity.

Don’t waste your money. This is a great idea, but lacks proper design. It worked great when we used it last season, but this season it never worked at all. It’s been way too long to ask for a refund, so I decided to have a look inside. What I found was a lot of fertilizer inside the electronics and motor area. All metal surfaces were corroded and frozen shut. There was nothing to prevent the fertilizer from getting into areas where it shouldn’t be. You may think that I should have cleaned it after use, but this corrosion is not in a user serviceable area. Sorry, but this is not a good product. Great idea but Poor design.

This spreader is amazing. I used to have to put a shovel in a bucket and then sling it on my driveway and I would have clumps of salt everywhere but with this spreader all I have to do is fill the container with salt and push the button and it spreads evenly throughout the driveway with no clumps. Absolutely great purchase

Love this tool. Spreads salt really good. Really easy to use. Different speed and different widths of your spread. Alot easier than using your hands to spread salt.

IT works swell ! Somethig thats actually made well and priced reasonably . and you can use the batteries that you already have as a plus ; Boy that great !
