In a bald eagle sanctuary,next to a Marine Corps base, hand made by men with the constitution tattooed on their knuckles. The belt buckles are polished with liberal tears and dyed black with burnt gunpowder from George Washington's musket. Probably China though.

Do you have to remove the buckle to get it through the belt loops?

No, not necessarily. Some of my jeans' belt loops will actually fit the female end through them, but some others don't. Should fit fine through tactical pants, especially 5.11 ones with wider belt loops. Even if it doesn't fit, you can keep the male end connected to the female end and run the actual belt through your loops and THEN run it through the buckle. Hope this helps.

This is a fake cobra® buckle, cheap knock offs (?)

It is not a Austri Alpin Cobra buckle, but does seem to be well made. At least enough for airsoft larpers and edc carry, I don't forsee someone losing their pants while carrying any time unless they try to use it for climbing, for which this buckle is NOT rated to

Steel and it works well I’ve had mine for a bit now and carried Glock 22 and a sigsauer P320 holds up really well for what it is
