It has a low odour formula, making it easy to use indoors without overwhelming smells, and it dries quickly so you don’t have to wait long between coats. It provides long-lasting protection against rot, moisture, and general wear, keeping wood looking good for months. Treated timber
Summer is here so I have put up some fencing and built a large shed from scratch. All of the timber I used was green pressure treated, but where i made cuts in the timber, I have brushed on some of this preserver. No idea how well it is actually working yet. I poured a little in a small tupperware tub and applied with a clean paint brush. I could see it soak into the timber, and it frothed up when agitated enough. Good coverage, easy to apply, & not smelly.

Easy to apply.
Very easy to apply, and easy to clean brush with warm water & detergent. As always with these products, difficult to tell how effective they will be, long term!

Not Sure
This goes on very watery which made it tricky to apply on angled wood as a lot just ran off. I can’t really tell if it’s made the wood more water resistant since water doesn’t seem to bead or repel on the surface. There’s no visible protective layer either, so it’s hard to judge. On the plus side, the natural look of the wood has been kept which I do like. Hopefully it’s working in the background but I guess only time will tell.

Good protection and finish, but odour is stronger and longer-lasting than claimed
I used Everbuild Wood Preserver on internal/external window frames. It does what it’s supposed to: penetrates and protects wood against rot and fungal decay, and the finish looks even and clear without flaking. The formulation dries reasonably quickly to the touch, and the wood feels properly sealed after the recommended coats. Outdoors it seems to be holding up well to rain and general wear so far. However, the low odour claim didn’t match my experience at all when using it indoors. Despite good ventilation and following instructions carefully, the smell lingered strongly for well over 48 hours — long enough that living spaces felt uncomfortable until it dissipated. Outdoors or in a garage this wouldn’t be an issue, but inside the house it was noticeably persistent. Performance for wood protection is solid and I’d trust it for exterior jobs, but the odour is more intrusive than advertised. If you’re planning to use it inside living areas, be prepared for a stronger smell and longer clearing time than the packaging suggests.
