Spigen DuraPro Armor for Apple Watch Band, Durable Metal Connector Strap

This is an initial review upon opening the box and "installing" the band on the watch. So far this looks excellent, perfect fit: not too wide, not too thin. The look is absolutely amazing and it makes the watch look more expensive than what it is. The band, even though is rubber, has a texture to the outside that simulates a fabric band (we'll see how this holds up to wear and tear). Also, the thickness is perfect giving it enough flexibility and toughness needed on a watch like this. The rubber band is held into the metal brackets via screws (I imagine it has glue also, I can't tell) The metal brackets have the same finish as the watch itself albeit not the same material was used, however, it is still metal, most likely aluminum. The orange accents on the swivel screws accentuate the orange accents on the watch itself complimenting it. Like I said before, this is an initial review and will update after some wear and tear. Update 05/29/24 Still good, some fraying but normal wear and tear. Good to go. Still 5 stars

Let me start with my sheer astonisment of the craftsmanship and thought put into this strap - I've never seen anything like it! It gives the watch a bulky, yet bold look, hardware matches colorwise to the AWU case and the lugs fit perfectly. Second, it's quite comfortable once you get the exact strap hole to fit, it's quite long and would accomodate larger wrists as well. A friend of mine commented on the Omnitrix (peace 2 Ben 10) kinda look :) The strap is also quite unobtrusive, buckle is great and has Spigen's logo branded, not to mention the orange accents which are such a great thought (they might have gone without them, but they didn't, Spigen guys are really putting their heads into action!). At first, don't be surprised if the strap has an aftificial material smell, it will fade away with time. Writing this review, I cannot stop looking at it with admiration. I don't think there's anything like this on the market and I am sure it was made specifically for the Ultra (although I'll try it on a Series 7 of a friend of mine just to see how it looks). Another thing I've noticed is that the strap is removable (two screws on the top steel elements) so I suppose it can be swapped for a custom leather strap as well (I think it's 26mm width too). With clear conscience I would recommend the strap to AWU users, especially the ones coming from G-shocks and bulky divers - you won't be disappointed, it's that good. In fact, it's perfect, 6 out of 5, period.

Good fit and decent quality. Only complaint is the fabric frays easily through normal wear. Band is otherwise durable and good value for money. Looks great.

I’ve bought Spigen phone cases over the last several years and always found them to be good quality, so I thought I’d give this band a try for my Watch. It arrived today and I am very impressed with the quality and finish. We’ll see how it holds up over time - I’ll try to update this review in a month - but immediate feeling is high quality. The lugs lock in place, the buckle is tight and secure, and so far anyway, it’s comfortable to wear. If you know and have been around titanium, like the Watch Ultra, you know titanium has more of a warm / yellow glow to the finish, whereas aluminum is just plain silver. This band components comes very close to matching the titanium of the Watch, but the discerning eye will notice it’s not an exact match. And at $32, it’s totally fine and acceptable. I have no complaints here. Likewise, the orange rings on the band are incredibly close to the orange on the crown of the Watch. It looks great and very cohesive. If I had to lodge any complaint, the only one I’d have is that there are not one, not two, but THREE Spigen logos on the outside of the band. I feel like that’s a little excessive.. but ultimately not a huge deal and not a reason not to buy. Overall, big fan!

I reallllllly love the look. But... There are a few particularities. The band is taking a while to fit properly. The rubber/cloth hybrid is strong so it does not flex much initially. Still waiting for it to round itself out. Until that happens, I currently have the "bit too tight"/"bit too loose" problem. But the most irritating part is whenever I get a notification and the watch vibrates, it makes alot of noise at the metal swivel point. Even when muted, everyone in the room now knows that I got a text. Which is embarrassing when I'm in a meeting, phone and watch are silenced, and my family is in the middle of a heated discussion about where to meet for Nana's birthday... Some type of rubber washers/grommets would have possibly prevented this but it may be a reason for me to not use as my daily band. Otherwise, it's a beautiful, wide, and tough band.

Mine lasted for two years. For the price. I think that’s pretty good. Just bought a new one.

The strap is sturdy, high-quality and makes the watch look much better than the original strap. I‘ve been using it 24/7, at the office, doing sports. It‘s comfortable enough to wear during nights, does not sweat or get stuck at your wrist. After two years of use, I noticed a crack on the inside of the strap and decided to change it to a new, identical one. If the same happens, I hope that this strap is still available for the third round. Very happy with my purchase.

Un bel cinturino da aggiungere alla mia piccola gamma per Apple Watch Ultra. Comodo anche se si decidesse di dormire con lo smartwatch per monitorare il sonno, ma molto robusto per farci anche sport estremi. Dopo essersi adattato al polso con il calore diventa confortevole. Mi piace molto anche lo stile, con materiali tecnici ma che si adattano perfettamente alla cassa dell’AWU. Acquistato ad ottimo prezzo consegnato in poche ore. Ne sono soddisfatto, dopo alcuni giorni di uso continuativo. Buon acquisto!
