How is this band compatible with all Apple Watch sizes?

It’s compatible with the Apple Watch 44,45 & 49MM variants. However, it fairs better with the 49MM variant (Apple Watch Ultra).

If damaged can Nylon/Rubber part be changed ?

All of the parts are assembled together & it arrived that way. I doubt it’s something that can be changed without further damaging the band. If the band has been damaged, I would contact Spigen. I hope my answer helps.
