Affordable, stable, roomie, and arrangeable tiers for your pets needs.
I purchased this cage/play pen for use when we spayed and neutered 3 kittens from a stray cat’s litter where I work. This is more streamline than having 3 separate kennels in a line on the floor. This arrived just after we had already had the first 6 month old kitten neutered, so he had been in a separate kennel. I set up this cage/playpen the day we brought the 2nd kitten back after she was spayed. I’d allow an hour or so for set up if you are doing it by yourself. We hoped to keep these 2 together in this cage, but she was nervous and would only stay in the litter box, so I did not want to stress her out with her brother joining her. I thought quickly and found I was able to add 1 of the soild panels to the other 2 in place already, to make a floor for the 3rd tier. This way I could let the scared kitten stay on the bottom tier and 2nd tier by herself, and her brother is staying on the 3rd and 4 tiers which I call his “penthouse”. I just had to add a plastic box for a litter pan for him to use separately. It is wonderful to have options to change the configuration or arrangement to fit your needs. The enclosed litter pan is wonderful for the ease of cleaning and no litter outside of the litter box to clean up. You can move the cage easily into place once put together. In the video you will see the male kitten jumping around and hanging on the cage and the cage does not tip over. Since these kittens are semi feral I am using metal spring clips along with the small plastic latch clips that are included with this cage, for more security from possible escape. I removed the clear door on the litter box since these feral kittens would not go into the cold weather cat houses outside that have clear door to go through. One photo shows the scared kitten coming out of the litter box doorway. I am impressed with the quality and ease of using this cage/playpen. With large hanging auto feeders and waterers we are able to keep the kittens at the office over the weekend with water and food still available by Monday morning. Great price for a good quality product you and your pets can depend on for safety and fun. 🐈⬛

I’d recommend, not too big, not too small.
I’m decently impressed with this 4-tier cat cage—it’s perfect for what we need. The value is honestly the best part, especially considering the size and sturdiness. Assembly was simple and only took about an hour. I really like that it gives the option to keep the litter box inside or outside the unit while still keeping everything neat and contained. This is the first cage I’ve ever purchased since my cats usually roam free, but with a newborn on the way we needed a safe space to secure them without taking away their comfort. It offers plenty of room for two adult cats, feels very solid once put together, and gives them the freedom to move around, climb, and do their business comfortably. Overall, it’s a sturdy, spacious, and practical solution that works great for both our cats and our growing family.

I will most definitely purchase again to extend the one I have
My two cats love this cage. It helps when your cat likes to hide from the vacuum my cat don’t move when the vacuum is on because they feel safe inside of the cage but when it’s playtime, I let them out so they think you’re free. It’s very sturdy and I have a half Maine coon. The quality is great. The latch quality is great. It’s very easy to clean very durable. The durability is amazing and it’s great for the value of the money. I will most definitely purchase again.

Size is Wrong but still good
Pretty good but it’s not quality metal so be careful it can bend but it totally works. I have no complaints but I will say for anyone doing at home measurements this is not accurate. It’s more like 55 inches long 56 inches tall and like 18 1/2 wide , give or take , but still 10/10 , My cat enjoys being in a safe lil place , her n the dog are still getting use to each other lol

Welp, ugh …
Went away for a few days. The feral kitties who are staying in this set up connected to another fell through two levels. While I was gone. No one was hurt. I don’t recommend assembling two systems as one. These kitties I’m rehabbing were having so much fun. The smaller six pound cats did well. But the larger 11 pound kitty accidentally collapsed the shelf. Twice. The plastic piece that holds the shelf in broke on one side on both brackets. I managed to rig a shelf to help them jump to their beds, but I need to rethink the design for two systems to exist without it falling apart again. Extra parts were supplied. But I’m bummed as I thought having two together would be fun. The main thing is I had several on the third level together through the middle. They would lay on this by the window. Have to jump up and down to the fourth level. I only had one panel missing on the third level they could move through then jump to the forth on either side. Thinking this would be reinforced enough. Didn’t could on the plastic … are they fasteners breaking. Snapping and the shelves falling. Poor things were upset and confused. Lasted about a month this way. Can’t recommend as a double. The single worked great. But now I’m questing the entire set up as a four tier system. Bummed, as this was a great way to help rehab stray and feral kitties. This set up had a tried cat colony. A mom and daughter with a boy that isn’t related. Working to help them be ready to live on a farm. The single with Blacky Pathner is going great. He is gentle in his use. If your cat is a ten or more pounder who’s rugged the shelf might break is our experience.

Great enclosed space, but heavier cat issues.
Although I like the size of this cat cage, especially when we are boarding two cats from the same family, we have experienced two significant issues. First of all, it was definitely easy for one person to set up, and I used the zip ties as recommended, but the platforms are not quite firm enough for heavier cats. When they jump down from one level to the next, if the cat is over 10-12 lbs, they bend the platform due to their weight. We are trying to figure out a way to reinforce it. The other issue is that if a cat pees outside of the enclosed litter box and you don't catch it right away, it will leak through everything and sit on the floor. This caused damage to our flooring. I have since put a thin throw rug under the litter box assembly to prevent this from happening again. The positives are the space provided and there is a door for each level (4). We have two other types of multi-level cat cages that are easier to clean, but the black plastic trays in those don't ever look like "new" again despite scrubbing. The platforms in this cat cage look really nice after simply being wiped down. I purchased two of these, which we will continue to use for boarding and fostering purposes, but I probably wouldn't buy more.

Good product for the price
Great for my cats. Wire panels could be stronger though. Keeps splitting.

Good.
I bought this enclosure kit to house my foster kittens. It arrived quickly and included all of the necessary components. I have used grid panel enclosures throughout my eight years of fostering and chose this particular kit because the grid design is rectangular (instead of square) and I liked the drawer design of the included litter box. (In my experience small kittens are less likely to get their heads stuck in rectangular grid opens than the square kind). Assembling (and dismanteling) the enclosure is very easy. Once built, the enclosure is sturdy (assuming you did it it correctly). Be sure to push each panel all the way into the connectors until it clicks/snaps into place and always use the zip ties (they include them for a reason!). The panels are light and the weight of the enclosure once built might not be enough to keep it firmly in one place, especially if you are using this with rambunctious kittens like I am. If your concerned about it falling over, you can either secure it to a wall OR build the enclosure in a l shape. (you will need to vary the heights of the L or purchase additional ones that are the same size as these). I chose to mix the grid panels with transparent (non grid) panels. (You can find a set of 12 transparent panels in the exact same sizes as the grid panels in this kit for approx $20 - $30 on Amazon). The grid panels ensure proper ventilation while the transparent panels prevent toys from flying out and make it less cage like. Also, if you don't have ramps, smaller kittens who cant jump from one level to another can use the grid panels to climb up instead. Additionally, transparent panels may help shy/timid kittens feel more secure and they prevent resident pets and the animals inside the enclosure from taking shots at each other. Update 11/27/23: I have been using this enclosure since July 2023 w/ no issues. My only complaint at this point is that it didn't come with ramps. Initially, I didn't forsee this being an issue but it has become one because I can't seem to find any ramps that fit well. Update 2/12/24: The enclosure is still going strong (no issues to report) and the durability of this enclosure has exceeded my expectations. I have been using it continuously to house my foster kittens (age range 0 - 4 months old) since it arrived. I have taken it apart and rebuilt it at least 10 times thus far (I clean/disinfect it between litters). All of the panels are still in perfect condition (no visible signs of wear/tear) and the panels still fit securely into the connectors (it hasn't loosened up at all). One notable drawback is that additional or replacement parts aren't available for purchase. (I need at least 3 additional door panels and clips to secure the door panels closed. As of this date I have not found an alternative.)
