Straight away coming to pros and cons or rather what you should or shouldn't expect from the book: 1. 'Poor writing' Many reviews mention poor writing. To me its as good as any Indian author can be. The book does lack the normal lusture of any crime thriller, but then it was never meant to be a sensational presentation. The writing does total justice in presenting the psyche of the person Laxman Singh Bisht (LSB). So one must 'not' expect King's english or literary ecstasy, but any one in awe of the now-celebrity Lucky Sir, and aching to know about this journey specifically those four years, could totally quench their thust. And the stature of the person would increase manyfold. 2. 'Credibility issues' Many ppl have doubts on LSB an an agent for RnAW. Well, as for the book it nowhere states that Agent Lima =LSB. Might need to read the second book probably. Its simply the narrative of survival instinct of LSB during a turmoil phase and a parallel of his training. In fact the ending shall leave u thinking about LSB for quite some time. 3. Credibility about RnAW Again this is a biography not autobiography. Therefore expect some extent of creative Liberty. How much exactly, can be easily verified from the news archives easily available all over the net. Well Nowhere ever in any of his podcasts, interviews etc, did once is this agency named. So, no wonder the book leaves this out. Ok. The bottomline: Its a open ending book. Leaves many things to your understanding. To believe or not is upto the reader. Just Do the math. Definitely a good read. P.S. If you have grown up reading Holmes, Feluda, and fan of Cormoran strike, Jack Reacher, Lisbeth Salander etc, DO NOT miss this one. He is the man leaping out straight from your fantasy (You would know what I mean)

Great book to read for people who love detective and real life adventures.

Nothing special
The story line failed meet the expectation. In fact it got terribly boring. So I would not suggest one may skip this book.

Eroor in Age/Date of Birth
The age of Laxman Bisht in Chapter one is mentioned Twenty-three as on 6th September,2011 but in Chapter it's mentioned that he was born in 1985. If he was born in 1985 then his age in September 2011 would be 26 and not 23.

Lucky- A Soldier is always a Soldier
The Story of a Brave Soldier . Beautifully written, showing different faces of Soldier, while struggling in his civil life.But still remain a Soldier at the end of the day. Thanks Mr. Zaidi for bringing this story in front of this world.

Disappointed ☹️
I am honestly quite disappointed with this book...was expecting something Hussain Zaidi is known for but this book is over exaggerating and full of inconsistencies... hoping for a chapter on rumoured covert operation in the neighbouring country....none whatsoever....did not live up to the expectation and definitely worst book by Zaidi yet
