I just say wow

It's a toy not a tool. It does warm-up and melt solder but soon as touched the part it froze to it. It isn't a 60w iron but way less like 5w so won't able to heat up the part which is already in the circuit.

Did not think it would be as good as it turned out to be. Heats up to set temps in Seconds. Build quality is good and feels strong. The included bits are versatile. You can do from micro soldering to bigger jobs with ease. Has good temperature range. Absolutely worth the money. It's new so I don't know how long it will last but does not feel like a cheap chinese product

Jan 2024- I used the soldering iron second time today and just in order to see the stability at the highest temperature I increased the temperature available with digital display at 48.0. Within 10 seconds, the soldering iron temp began to increase, there was a tap sound and the soldering iron went off. The heating element went faulty and now I am trying to locate heating element replacement and can't find one for 220V/80W ceramic. Jul 2024- I finally bought a 60W heating element and used it but the soldering iron display did not work. Since the last more than a month I am in touch with Serplex maintenance team through whatsapp and support team through email asking them for a replacement of the PCB inside the soldering iron but till date after around a dozen mails exchanged, I am still waiting for a solution. Update 29-Jul- the support team asked me to send them a video. I sent them a video. They have been asking me to send more videos without giving a solution till date. Poor customer service. If they really wanted to help and provide a solution, they could have asked for a video call and see whatever they wanted to check on the video call itself. Sep 24- The support team contacted me and they are ready to replace the unit but only if I pay an additional 30% of the cost but in advance. My take is that the iron went defunct on first use when I just changed the setting to operate it at high temp and it went faulty, I haven't been able to use the product, the design seems to be an issue from my point of view. How can I be asked to pay an advance of additional 30% when I don't trust your product? Sep 24 - I got a mail saying that they can provide a solution only if I pay additional 30% of the cost in advance. This was one of the options, the other being payment of 50%. I had opted for additional 30% if they fixed it before the payment. They disagreed and I had no reason to trust them and their solution, so I didn't agree on advance payment. In short, I bought this product looking at the good features claimed in the ad. But the unit got faulty on first use and the use was limited to checking how the temp settings worked (I didn't even get to solder once with it) at which instance it stopped working. With my knowledge of Electronics, I can confidently say that I do not recommend it as it has either a design problem or a problem with the specifications of components used in the electronics.
