Can these work on cement walls?

The adhesives works if the surface of cement walls is smooth. If the cement wall surface is not smooth and has particles on it, the adhesives may not work.

Looking to hang a 1/2 inch wooden dowel from the hook. How big is the actual hook?

No instructions! Do you need to wait any time to hang things after installation?

Typically you wait 12-24 hours before hanging. Be sure and clean the area with rubbing alcohol before attaching it for the best adhesion.

is 44 pounds the capacity if each hook or the package of 10?

I believe each h hook can hold up to 44 pounds. They are pretty strong. I did use 2 hooks when I hung a heavy picture
