I love this because the eggs roll down into the covered compartment where they aren’t getting dirty, pecked at, and sat on. The product came with clear instructions and all hardware necessary to assemble, including a screwdriver and a pair of knit gloves. It is sturdy and durable – made of sheet metal for the most part and a very rugged plastic for the bottom of the box/collection area. I took the picture immediately after assembly, but my hens have taken to it readily and it has a nice clean look and feel to it. The nesting area is plenty spacious for my large hens and the dividing wall gives them that calm solitary feel that they seem to like. The side walls have ventilation slots which is also a great plus along with small holes in the tray, so the waste doesn’t build up and make it unsanitary. If need be, I can add straw in the winter and still easily remove the drawers for cleaning. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Unclear assembly directions *by H***C on Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2023* Update after using for a few days. The plastic trays although they seem sturdy are not. The tray will not stay in the coop and I keep finding eggs on the ground. I am going to have to modify or add something to keep them from sliding out every time my girls get in or out of the box.The directions for putting this thing together is pretty bad. They are very hard to understand as the parts are not labeled and it was very difficult to figure out how the braces went on. It was super frustrating but I was finally able to figure it out.
