I am very pleased with this scoby. I've made a couple of batches now since I got it and they have turned out very well. In the past I've made my own but was impatient this time. I'm happy I did. I only make 1/2 gallon at a time and this came very well packaged with plenty of starter tea. I'm not sure of the health benefits in my case but I do love kombucha. I add fresh fruit to the 2nd ferment and get plenty of carbonation. Yum!
