I wanted mine to see in my ceiling where I need to insulate better and see any potential water damage areas. I'm not a professional user so this suits my needs just fine. It's really neat to see it working and have 'Predator'-vision. It only uses the camera in the unit for this and does use your phone camera for thermal. Refresh rate is far higher and with significantly more pixels, the P2 Pro video & images far superior! All these advantages at a much lower purchase price. I would never buy another Flir One Pro unless Flir does a complete redesign and slashes price! The P2 Pro cellphone Android works well, allows for selectable color pallets, and digital spot, min, & max temperature overlays on the images. I'd expect the IPhone app will work equally well.
