If this is turn off the cooler goes to off even though It continues to be connected to the car light cigarette?** A: Yes, if it is connected to power and you switch it to “off” it will be off not cooling or heating. Another thing to mention, it cycles, so when it reaches say 125° it will cycle off for a few minutes and cycle back on to maintain the temp. I don’t use it for cold but I can assume it’s the same way **Q: Can i keep hot dogs and Hamburger??** A: The unit can hold about 40 degrees that is a little warmer than your refrigerator is usually but if You are Going to BBQ and only need it to stay cold for a few hours I would say yes to hamburger and hot dogs, we used it to keep cheese, yogurt and drinks cold for days without any issues. One thing you need to do though if you're a truck driver looking to purchase this, each week, the top needs blown out with air. We were quite surprised how much dust blew out of it the first time he did that. Its something he's doing every week now. If you don't, it'll affect the performance. We noticed the fan inside wasn't blowing as well and that's when we decided it probably had a lot of dust in the outside top. Overall though a WONDERFUL cooler to have in the truck! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Much better than a cooler with ice *by N***S on August 30, 2024* This fridge did the trick. It kept our food cool without freezing anything. The cooling and warming functions work quickly once power is connected and stays on. I have a Honda CRV hybrid with decent truck space, but I appreciate the vertical profile of this fridge because it conserves trunk space. We were able to hold the fridge, 4 - 22 inch rolling carryon bags, one- 15 inch rolling laptop bag, 2 shoulder overnight bags, and a dry food bag. It was snug, but that kept the fridge in place while still giving us access to it. While it has a vertical profile, it is still short enough that it did not exceed my trunk cover. We had garment bags on top of our trunk cover and the total trunk contents did not exceed the back seat head rests so my line of sight was clear, and I am only 5’2”. We have used this for two road trips thus far - one13 hour drive and the other a 5 hour drive. It was great not to have to get or replenish ice, which just takes up space in your cooler, and we loved not needing to dump out the melted ice water. It definitely kept our tuna fish sandwiches, yogurt, and fruit cool but not to the point of freezing anything - which was great. If you want to keep something frozen, I doubt it would do that. Figuring out the locking and unlocking system did take a few minutes. I have not used the warming function but did accidentally turn it on when I first used it, and it seemed to work. The light helpfully notified us that we had the warming function on and once we switched it to cool, the fridge cooled down quickly. When our hybrid car was not running the fridge turned off, but the interior of the fridge stayed cool for more than half of an hour. It could have been longer, but that was the average length of our stops. The fridge interior Is not massive but held enough for 4 people. It took us a minute to figure out that the handle serves as a lock - the handle to back locks the fridge while the handle to the front unlocks it and allows you to open the fridge. This is great tool to keep your contents from falling out if the fridge tips over, but it would have been nice if the instructions mentioned that. The first trip we spent about 5 minutes figuring out how to open the fridge and had to keep reminding each other to flip the handle forward when we wanted to open it. NOTE: if your truck is not full, you may need a way to secure it because it will just slide around in an empty trunk. Once we took out our luggage, hearing the fridge slide around our trunk did get a little annoying as we drove around.
