I installed the GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4060 Gaming OC 8G as a replacement for my RTX 3060. Even though it has fewer CUDA cores, this card delivers noticeably better performance. I was skeptical at first, but the efficiency of the Ada Lovelace architecture really shows. In World of Warcraft, I am now seeing smoother gameplay with higher frame rates at the same settings. Temperatures are impressive. Idle temps sit around 91 degrees Fahrenheit (33°C), and even during extended gaming sessions, max temps reach only about 133 degrees Fahrenheit (56°C). The triple-fan Windforce cooler keeps the card quiet and cool without throttling. The card is compact, easy to install, and requires less power than the 3060. It is a solid choice for both performance and efficiency. If you are upgrading from a 30-series card and wondering if the 4060 is worth it, the answer is yes—especially if you focus on games like World of Warcraft where optimization matters more than raw core count.

It is value for money so that I don't spend much while enjoying gaming!

I have loved it since I bought this card a couple months ago. It plays every game at 1080p perfectly, and on pretty high/ultra settings depending on the game. Always quiet, even with 3 fans. My only gripe is the 8GB of ram. I went from a 1060 6GB, and to only get an extra 2 after jumping several generations was a bit jarring. That said, it hasn't been an issue in any game I have played, other than not being able to max some settings the card could run if it had more ram. It can and does overclock easily. NVIDIA's program set it 200 MHZ faster. All in all, I really can recommend it.

For the price, it’s a solid deal—runs quiet, stays cool, and handles modern games really well. Definitely a great upgrade if you're looking for reliable performance without spending a fortune.

If 4K isn't a financially viable option, then this is a good GPU, and that is the only thing I can say about this GPU considering the market alternatives.

I got this as a gift for my son, who is a dedicated PC gamer. He loves the new upgrade, the graphics are clean and the performance is much better than his previous card. It can run hot depending upon how you choose to cool it, but he has a water block so it’s able to be overclocked with no issues. The new speed and overall efficiency of the new hardware has really put a smile on his face, and that is the point of a good gift! After installing it, he ran a benchmark and was blown away by the results. Love this, and my husband made a fantastic pick for our son’s birthday gift.

The GPU provide acceptable performance on 2K with good temp.

It has a very good performance for any type of video game, getting between 100+ FPS is a good buy if you have a 5 gen processor. It also has a good ratio between performance and graphics quality but if you just want performance I have no doubt that you will get up to 350+ FPS depending on the game.
