Excellent! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ german tutor *by K***R on 26 September 2025* great book on time ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good so far *by S***) on 19 October 2016* This textbook looks very practical, up-to-date and clearly/attractively laid out, and a lot of thought has gone into presenting the grammatical complexities of German in an easy-to-digest manner. There appears to be much practical information and wisdom contained in the book as dispensed by the "tutors". It contains 200+ skill-building exercises as well as an answer key. I have now worked through the first 2 chapters. Overall, I'm quite impressed. In addition to the positives mentioned above I am finding a couple of negatives: sometimes the grammar topics are treated a little too briefly for my liking and I have been left at the end of the chapter wanting more explanation and/or practice. For more detail, the book refers you to chapters of the TY Complete German course. Secondly, so far I haven't found as much inspiration in the chapters for the writing exercises as I would have wanted. Also: some might argue that the book is a little "dry", but I suppose grammar and vocabulary practice are likely to be fairly so.
