What is the guarantee for this item? i bought 4 last november and 3 are working perfectly but the 4th which i started using in march has stopped

I do not know the guarantee period, but you purchased it so recently I cannot imagine the seller will not replace it.

How to reset the max/min readings. the mem button appears to serve no function. no instructions were with my thermometer. mws

Hello, Each day I press the Red button to record the lowest temperature at night for reference next morning. Make sure the battery is working. If the display is faded then the battery is low and needs replacing or recharging. Kind regards, Stephen

Does the max/min still work without the battery? Im concerned about battery life in near and below zero conditions

The max min display is digital as is current temperature. Mine has been outside all last winter and this, lowest temperature recoded is - 7c still working on original battery.

Not sure but no harm in talking to the supplier, most are keen to help, if no joy there, complain to amazon. Have you checked the battery contacts, sometimes if unit is in the open they can corrode, cleaning with sandpaper can help.

Easy to read, but not waterproof

Works well and easy to reset. Sold as indoor/outdoor but not waterproof. No seal around the rest button so needs to be located in a sheltered area.Display is clearer than conventional in/out thermometers.

I needed an external thermometer where the markers showing the maximum and minimum reached during the days did not become stuck. This digital device fulfils that very well.

I bought this item on 16th January 2025, it stopped working today 19th July. I have changed the battery for a new one with no joy. What comeback do I have with regards replacement of same as the item is only six months old
