The cold packs slide into the mitts and booties easily. The mitts fit really well... the booties are a little small and we bought the larger size so be forewarned. My husband wears a size 11 shoe normally, average width feet. His feet do fit in these, just barely, but because he barely fits them, it's hard to get the heel cold pad into its pocket (not that I think that particular cold pack is vital anyway). If your feet are bigger than Men's 11, I think you might struggle with the booties. The cold packs are nicely packaged in separate storage bags which makes it easy to freeze them and keep them all together and since it's a thick plastic, you can write your name on it easily for cold storage at your chemo facility. They stay very cold for at least an hour, but I recommend getting two sets of these anyway, because delays occur frequently and we often have to change out cold packs mid-infusion. My feet are LARGE (size 11s) and they fit fine. Just fyi, you can’t walk in the booties. Just slip them off for brief moments to take care of business, then slip them back on for the rest of the infusion period. Mine came with a cool cap as well.
