I purchased this gel set for nail art and extensions, and it has worked well overall. The ease of removal is decent, as it doesn’t take too long to soak off, but like many builder gels, it requires some patience. It’s not the fastest to remove, but with proper soaking and care, it comes off without too much effort. The gel dries quickly under UV/LED light, which is a big plus. Once cured, the nails have a strong, durable finish that holds up well for daily use. I also appreciate the self-leveling nature of the gel, making it easier to apply smoothly without much hassle. While the gel provides good results for creating long-lasting nail designs, there are some minor downsides. It’s important to ensure proper curing to avoid any issues with lifting. Additionally, some people might find that the gel can be a bit thick for their liking, which may require extra attention during application. Overall, this gel set is versatile, with vibrant colors and a solid build, and works great for creating unique designs. Just be mindful of the removal process and curing times to get the best results.

I've used this product on three of my own at home nail sets. I love it. My nails are FRAGILE. If I do not have builder gel on them, they literally fold in half. I was skeptical that this product wouldn't get hard, but never fear, as soon as it's been cured, it's hard and protective. As far as easy to remove, yes and no -- you don't want your builder gel chipping off. So it's hard to remove in that aspect, which is good. It's easy to remove when you're intentionally trying to remove it. It does take time, just like it would if you went to a salon though.

Love beetles products! There builder gel really holds up even on long extension! Have bought many more bottles since! Wish that these bottles were bigger though.

This is not like any bottled builder gel I have used. It’s very goopy if the room is too cold, but in normal temps, it self levels like a dream. You cannot tell that I do not have a steady hand at all. The color sample tops are a nice touch.

I enjoyed the color and look that I got out of the clear builder gel in this set, but if you are not a super experienced at home gel extraordinaire, do not buy these. Removal was extremely difficult. I left the builder gel on for about 3 weeks and then decided I wanted to take everything down to the nail to use what I usually use as a base coat. This stuff was impossible to get off, e-file and acetone soak. Not a horrible product, but make sure you know exactly what you're doing before you buy and use this. If I choose to use one of these in this set again, I will likely use two coats of the normal base that I enjoy, which protects my nail and is easy to remove, and then I will use the builder over that in order to protect my nails better. Just in case you're wondering, the base that I love is by Young Nails, called ManiQ Keratin base

I took a leap of faith ordering some nail builder but now I'm super glad that I did! My nails have gone through many many rounds of gel polish and acrylic tips, acetone soak offs and the all too satisfying yet taboo peels. My poor nails needed some support after all the filing and shaping that made them ripe for snags, peeling and splitting. Beetles is my go to for UV gel color so I dipped into their gel builder with good faith in the brand. Their builder gel is just as good as their regular UV colors when it comes to opaque-ness. Builder is a thicker gel and it a little bit tricky to work with at first but is easy to get the hang of. I recommend a smaller brush than the paddle that comes in the top and to flip your hand upside down to even out the coat before curing. Apply to bare nails, cure, you can add a color on top, or finish with top coat for a semi-natural look with a barely there tint.

This builder gel is not bad. Easy to use for a beginner like me. However, the pink polishes are all pretty similar in colour, different from what is shown in the photo. Also, it leaves behind a sticky residue that I have to wipe off with acetone. Perhaps my lamp isn't strong enough? It is 54W.

This product make my cuticles swell and infection around my nails

I thought these would look like jelly but all but clear and white are much too opaque. I barely use the other colours bc they don’t match many skin tones/aren’t popular with my clients.
