Exactly as I remember them
I bought these wooden blocks primarily as props for my photography with babies. Although some reviewers have mentioned they are rather small, they are exactly the same size that I remember them from my childhood. There's a good selection of letters and numbers so it's easy to spell out words and short sentences with them. However I find that the yellow blocks don't photograph very well! They feel durable, and my daughter (7 months old) also enjoys playing with these blocks which are a good size for her little hands to grasp.

Great for photography
I bought these to use on Baby Photography shoots - to spell out names and as a bright little additional element. They work really well, are a good size (maybe a teeny bit bigger would have been better but that's just a picky thing), and are nicely colourful - plus you get a fair few for a good price. Some of them look a bit worn (colour flaking off around edges) but I suppose that's to be expected from a quite cheap item. Overall, really good! Would recommend.

We love Melissa and Doug toys and thought this would be an excellent addition to our son toy box. However, it’s a bit too small for him to play with right now.
