Liv and let die
Awesome book that gives a great perspective of the PGA tour and its response to LIV golf. The author didn’t hold back his criticism or blame on both sides. A great contrast of what you’ve read in the papers and what is reality. I have a friend who’s mentioned in the book and he said, it’s all true.

Interesting delve into the greed of golf
Drilling down to observe the characters involved trying to make money and lots of it. Integrity be damned. Saudi blood money just fine and easy to spend. Close one eye and cash that check. Enjoyable read and entertaining -but sadly loyalty is for sale

Intriguing and borderline overwhelming
I am a big fan of Shipnuck, so maybe a little bias….. but if you want to know the WHOLE history of LIV you’ve come to the right place. Since this is so comprehensive on a subject with many characters to follow and a ton of angles and perspectives, my brain came close to overload. Not a quick or simple or amusing read, but a well balanced documentary and analysis.

Reading this book changed my life
I learned many things about the LIV and the PGA Tour organizations while reading this book. If I told you exactly what I learned I'd give away critical information that you should buy the book to read about. If you are someone who likes to do your research and make up your own mind, then BUY THIS BOOK! I also learned something about that DeChambeau fella, the one who was eating double figure kilocalories daily in order to bulk up as if he were some WWE pronstar. It turns out, the fella stopped doing that in part, according to the research conducted for this book, because of his multiple daily "volcanic bowel movements". I've never read such a thing, but it makes perfect sense. You won't ever catch me eating that much ever now, for sure. And I will never not think about that fella's "volcanic bowel movements if I ever see that fella play golf on the tv again. Which, not to give away the book's plot, doesn't really seem likely anymore.

Thorough but No End. THIS NOT IMPORTANT READING!!!
If you can tolerate Mr. Shipnuck's Trump Derangement Disorder, this is what seems to be a thorough history of the steps in the attempted Saudi takeover of professional touring golf. The thing is, the Saudis and the PGA Tour have not settled anything yet other than to drop all the lawsuits. Despite all the references to "saving golf" by some of the delusional characters in this story, there is no reference in the book that golf is played and enjoyed by millions of people around the world who represent all ages and income levels, most of whom could not care less about how this story about the touring professionals ends.

a tremendous book
I was not blown away by Mr. Shipnuck’s last book and considered not reading this book. Thankfully I did. What a tremendous achievement. The author has laid out in great detail the complete story of Liv. This is quite simply the best golf book ever written and one of the best books in recent memory of any genre. Thank you for a job well done!

Have been looking for the real LIV golf story and here it is. So many characters involved and like many such new ventures in the sporting world it is probably just the first chapter.
