Molex Micro-Fit 3.0™ Dual Row (6 Circuits) Male & Female Receptacle Plug, w/Terminal sockets, (Pack of 3 Complete Set)

I purchased a height adjustable desk from Facebook marketplace which was missing a cable connecting two motors. With a combination of Cat6 ethernet cable and Molex Micro-fit 3.0, now I can adjust the desk height :) thank you for great product.

Works exactly as it should. Having been in the electronics assembly/repair business for over 35 years the only reason I can imagine for all the bad reviews is using the wrong crimp tool or not accurately loading the pins in the tool properly.

I’ve been crimping Molex since I was a kid installing 12V audio. I’m really struggling to believe these are genuine Molex connectors. The Molex that I’m familiar with use squared pins and these are round. Not a big deal except they don’t consistently match up. Even outside the connector, you’ll struggle to get male to slide into female. The other issue is that they don't lock in. Im used to a very positive CLICK once you slide the PIN into the socket. These not so much…very inconsistent and unreliable.

I was wiring up a 3d printer toolhead and needed small connectors, i could have bought from somewhere like digikey or mouser. But these were cheaper overall when you factor prime shipping. Also I purchased a microfit kit from elsewhere but it didn't have 6 pin 2x3 so ended up grabbing these. They were genuine and same as the ones that came in my kit quality wise. You'll need some crimpers with these. I used IWISS IWS-2820M AWG 28-20 crimpers (B078WNZ9FW) and all went well

Needed to make my own RS485 cable for a tesla powerwall/Neurio system. Helps that I had a molex 3.0 crimper on hand! Perfect.
