Very nice. Big screen. Clear picture. Plays well. If I need another portable dvd player I would definitely buy this again. Also very reasonably priced especially since it has a bigger screen. Thank you.

Purchased for a trip without wifi. Works great and convenient. Heavier than a modern laptop, but still light enough and sized well enough to carry in a backpack. Display size is adequate for watching.

I originally got this for my kids to get them off tablets and I found all of the yellow stone at the library so I ended up using it to binge watch that and I really love it! It's pretty straightforward to use and it last a little less than 3 hours from fully charged. I will definitely be buying 2 more at some point so my kids (4 and 2) will have their own. They look forward to getting a new movie friday!

Bought on prime day for 40. I really like it and i would agree with all the 4 star reviews. Just a few things though.... 1. Its region free alright. Played a euro dvd no problem 2. It says 9.5" screen, but barely 9" is used 3. Sound and picture quality depends on the disc youre playing, but you might want to grab an old bluetooth speaker with aux option handy for louder or better sound 4. You can tilt/twist the screen which is good, since you will have to tilt it for the perfect viewing angle 5. The remote has to be pointed directly near the red light at the bottom of the player for it to register 6. Usb stick with music worked, but my sd cards with video didnt, "codec not supported" Overall, lots of features and at a good price with the region free aspect being my favorite.

This our second portable dvd player first one was skipping consistent than we did a return and got a new one and this one now has a bright white lining flashing flicking light has if this one was used.Even got warranty on it and noting is being helped with.

I have a special needs niece. I have bought her 3 of these. One for a backup one she uses at home and one for the car. This is one of the best portable dvd players I have ever bought. She can work the buttons real easy. (She is non verbal) She will play her elmo and blue's clues videos all day long. The battery will last about 5 hours. Once it has to go back on charge that's when the backup comes in handy. I strongly recommend this player for anyone any age.....

The product is as advertised, and is the quality you would expect for the price. The housing seems rather durable and can take bumps and hits without cracking or discoloring. It's very portable, and it's sleek design makes it fit in with other devices without looking overly clunky. The swivel screen moves freely and doesn't feel overly cheap, it's not easily hung up while rotating, and can be closed with the screen out if having the buttons visible is an issue for your intended use or purpose. The buttons are large and easy to use, although it seems like some of the buttons are unnecessary for ordinary usage, and I have come across dvds that give you an on-screen selection, and the buttons on the unit do not seem to allow for that. The remote does, but if you don't have/lose the remote, some features are now unusable. The volume is one of my issues however. This unit is ideal for quiet or very minimal background noise. The speakers are in my opinion very quiet in comparison to laptop speakers. It does have a headphone port, which in a loud environment is required. The quality of sounds is good for their size and in that respect mimics laptop speakers, with the clear voices and minimal distortion, and very little bass response. My biggest issue with this player is the battery life. I got this for my daughter to entertain her while we were otherwise engaged. On one full battery charge, at full volume(which as I previous stated is not overly loud), it will play a full 1:36 long movie, and about half another before it is fully dead. It does come with both a 110v wall charger and a 12v car charger, but it's not advisable to use it while charging as it will cause damage to the battery, and possibly overheat the unit causing further damage

DVD player is defective. Screen is not working. Just shows lines through it. Audio works but screen is definitely broken- maybe a lose connection. Sent an email to the warranty so hopefully we hear back on what to do. If not we will return this item. UPDATE: I emailed warranty that came with the DVD player and they responded promptly and are sending a new DVD player to me. Changing the review to 5 stars.
