Its dual-density silica core also provides superior sound dampening, making it ideal for reducing heat and noise in vehicle compartments such as firewalls, floorboards, doors, and under hoods. Lightweight and easy to trim, it installs quickly with push-in fasteners or adhesive. ## Description Use the Cool-It Mat to battle excessive heat and noise that penetrate the driver compartment through the firewalls and floorboards.
