works very well
I opted for this style than the type that attaches to the handle bars, because I had the room on the fairing, behind the windshield of my 2015 Suzuki V-Strom dl650a. I used it on a 578 mile one way trip and it worked flawlessy the entire time. Shows what the battery is charging at, when the bike is running. I like that too.
