Keeps waking us up.** A: I think every smoke alarm will have a periodic flashing light which is a confirmation that the alarm is correctly powered (i.e. battery life is ok or mains connection is good) and is functioning properly. I don’t think that there is a solution other than repositioning or relocating the alarm. **Q: Is it ok for use in static caravans** A: This unit can be used in a Caravan, however it is not advisable to install smoke alarms in the kitchen area to avoid false alarms. I hope this helps. Many Thanks, Gemma H **Q: Does this test for carbon monoxide?** A: These are just smoke detectors for the carbon monoxide you need different type ,also these are valid for 10 years then the battery is finished and you can’t replace the batteries These fire angels are high quality pieces of devices for any house and well worth it **Q: Fire Angel st750t arrived today. Diagram of baseplate in user manual is different from one supplied. Why is this?** A: Not sure but if the base plate fits it should be ok, to be sure contact the supplier for conformation ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple & smart appearance, easy installation *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 April 2019* Arrived very promptly. I was pleased to see that the expiry dates on my 3 units were Dec-2029 and Feb-2030, so they are evidently new stock. If you are wondering, like me, what the difference is between FireAngel's ST-620, ST-622 and ST-750 alarms, all of which are thermoptek, identical in size and seem to have the same specification in the data sheets & manuals supplied by FireAngel, the answer apparently is that the sensors are slightly different, the ST-750 being the newest. The face of the alarm is simple: one big button and one flashing light, unlike some that have multiple buttons for different purposes. There is a single LED that flashes every 40 seconds to show it is operational; I have yet to see how bright this appears at night, so I've not yet put up the one for my bedroom.Incredibly simple to put up; with two long slots in the base plate at 90 degrees to each other, it doesn't matter if your two screws don't go in exactly where you planned! and it means you can rotate the base plate a little if you want the face of the alarm aligned in a particular direction.I gave 5 stars for "battery life" on the basis that the battery is meant to last 10 years, which is a big bonus - no additional expenditure on an expensive 9V battery (or whatever) every two years. Obviously I'll only be able to comment on actual battery life in 2029!I was spending Β£10 ten years ago on basic smoke alarms, so this one is ace value, having a thermoptek 'heat & optical' sensor. The 'end of life' silence facility is an added bonus, so you aren't driven bonkers by the thing chirruping all night! (nor have to take it down and de-activate it) - it will keep protecting you for up to another 7 days, until you have been able to replace it. Brilliant! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Happy with the purchase *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 22 March 2026* Very happy with the product. Easy to activate by connecting it to the main plate. I think some comments were because people didn't read instruction, so they believed that they received the product which doesn't work. The point is that alarm has to be activated. What has lots of sense. I have the same model in our rooms which were connected by fire brigade and one of them got faulty after 8 years, which I think it's not bad. I hope replacement will work for many years too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works perfectly *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 23 March 2026* Works perfectly. Looks good quality. It replaces an existing one that lasted 5 years. Batteries NOT replaceable. ## Frequently Bought Together - FireAngel ST-750T Thermoptek Smoke Alarm - FireAngel Carbon Monoxide Detector 10-Year Life Sealed Battery - FA3820 Carbon Monoxide Alarm for Home and Holiday - Portable CO Alarm - Travel Carbon Monoxide Detector and Monitor - White - FireAngel Heat Alarm with 10 Year Sealed For Life Battery, FA6720-R (HT-630 replacement, new gen), White --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.it/products/53628122-st-750t](https://www.desertcart.it/products/53628122-st-750t) --- *Product available on Desertcart Italy* *Store origin: IT* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
