Replaced defective unit!
I purchased the DeerRun Walking Pad to get some extra steps in while working from home. Initially, I was excited about its compact design and ease of use, but unfortunately, the first unit I received had issues—the motor would overheat after about 25 minutes of use. I reached out to customer service, and to their credit, they were very responsive and sent me a replacement treadmill. The new unit works better, but I’m still cautious about long-term durability. When it runs properly, it’s quiet, smooth, and fits well under a standing desk. It’s great for walking at a slow pace while working, but I wouldn’t rely on it for intense or extended use. Overall, I appreciate the company’s willingness to replace the defective unit!

Excellent, but..
This walking pad is extremely convenient. It has allowed me to walk consistently everyday because I don’t have to go to the basement gym and be away from my family. It lives in the living room and is easily stowed away under the couch within minutes. It’s quite as can be, considering it’s a machine with a major moving part (the belt). Pluses: 1) it’s quiet. I received a loud one at first, I returned it and got a replacement and it has been great. 2) it’s moveable. This is a sturdy machine. It has to be or it can’t support your moving weight. However, the casters at the bottom on one side (for safety) allow it to be moved and slide under furniture with ease. 3) unlike some other ones, this particular model shows distance in miles, not kilometers. That’s a plus for us Americans. We don’t have to convert our mileage. 4) trouble shooting is simple. If the belt is bearing left while you walk, you just crank it with the provided wrench and it immediately corrects itself. If you do too much, you just adjust the other side. It took me 5 seconds to do it and it hasn’t gotten misaligned again. I’ve done 75 miles on it after. Cons: 1) it’s narrow. But that’s by design. It’s meant to be narrow so that it’s portable. This isn’t a full sized treadmill so don’t expect it to be. That also means that you must pay attention. If you are not centered, you WILL fall. I did - twice. Instead of returning it and getting a model that has handle bars, I just put two chair backs on either side and use them to keep my balance. That works for me but it is a compromise and if I had it in me to return it, I would pick the handle bar model. But I do have bad balance to begin with. So use your judgment. 2) it does NOT keep time. If you accidentally press “stop”, it will stop withOUT a recorded time or distance. So if you’re keeping track of your progress, you won’t know how many calories, distance, or time. I find this one the most annoying of the flaws. I make it a point to glance at my time and distance BEFORE I end my session. 3) you must use the remote to stop, start, increase or decrease the speed. The remote has a loose wrist band so I wear it on my wrist while I walk. You can also thread it through a lanyard to keep it hands free. 4) it does not have an emergency stop button to pull. All in all, I recommend this walking pad for this price point. I would probably have gotten a different model for my specific needs, but as it stands, I’m happy keeping this one.

Funny warnings, lessons learned
Funny stories, lessons learned I purchased the treadmill for use under my desk while at work. It’s awesome. Lightweight, does what I need it to do. Doesn’t incline or check HR- which is fine because I’m not training for a marathon while at work. It’s great! But…….I’ve learned some pretty funny lessons. 1st- When your husband walks into the room to talk to you, do NOT, under any circumstances, try and turn your body all the way around to acknowledge him. This may result in getting off balance. And when you are off balance while the treadmill is moving, and turned around almost 180’, you may become extremely …unstable. Then as your unstableness is in action, you may want to grab on to something to prevent the action fall but alas- there are no side rails to catch you. So one might end up flailing like one of those used car dealership blowup things. When you have almost fallen to the ground, your husband may try and help you, but due to the comical, unprofessional, rookie stunt fall you are about to do, all he can do is watch in slow motion. Because there is no stop/ kill button, tab, or attachment- you may not be able to blame him or hold a grudge for years to come. 2nd- Do not be tempted to walk barefoot on this thing. One may not realize the impact it has until about a mile in when you start feeling warmth on the bottom of your feet. Although this may be due to the mechanics of the treadmill, this is also due to you neglecting the sticker that’s literally on the treadmill that says we recommend you wear shoes. It’s almost like walking on burned coals- you know you shouldn’t do it, but do it anyway. You may not feel anything as you do it (and may think to yourself, ‘wow this actually is kind of awesome. I wonder why more people aren’t doing this?) but afterwards it’s gonna leave a mark and you will 100% understand why people don’t do this, and why the company had to make a sticker to say don’t do that. 3rd- I’m 5’7” and 180# (yes, that’s why I bought this- so far this treadmill is completely unusable and useless as a clean laundry shelf or a place to hang clothes). Apparently I have the gate of Big Foot because I’m either scuffing the front of the treadmill or feeling the road is going to end at the back. It took some getting used to. Turns out the position I have it under the desk really does affect how you’re walking. But it is a lesson learned in how to walk. Can’t trip on the front and can’t fall off the back. 4th and final thing I learned. When you decide to increase the speed while working, make sure that when you talk to your coworkers you’re not out of breath because people are gonna gossip and you don’t want them to get the wrong idea. Haters are gonna hate. That’s it! 5 stars! No complaints, just lessons learned :)

This treadmill has seamlessly integrated into my daily routine. Its compact design allows it to fit under my standing desk, turning my work-from-home days into active, productive sessions. The assembly was simple, and its numerous features, including Bluetooth connectivity and app integration, add to its usefulness. I can easily track my performance or participate in virtual walks, which adds a fun, competitive element. The 2.5HP motor provides a smooth, quiet operation, making it ideal for conference calls or watching TV without causing disturbances. It's robust enough to support my weight while still being easy to move due to the wheels. I enjoy bringing it out for a quick session or neatly storing it away when not in use. My wife and I share it throughout the day to meet our step goals, regardless of the weather. This treadmill is perfect for anyone aiming to stay active without hassle.

Love this walking pad it's nice and simple to use and came without any need for adjustments - it's not really quiet it has a normal amount of sound that you would expect from a treadmill belt spinning and your footsteps etc but it's not ridiculously loud - I love the app it comes with aswell and I've seen a lot of negative reviews about the app but as long as you download it on an iPad or tablet or something that you can just set down and let it play then it will work perfectly - don't have the app on your phone because if you're going to want to use your phone while walking on the walking pad the app will obviously lag or crash as it is such a big app that has a lot going on - the app isn't ridiculously realistic but it's still nice to look at and see your little person running or walking through different scenery and yes your person will run through mountainsides and through the sea every now and again but it's not meant to be realistic, just a bit of fun :) I've had no problems with the walking pad or the app and I've used it every single day for 10k steps since I bought it and I 100% wouldn't have got anywhere near that amount of activity without this walking pad :) don't take the app too seriously - yes there is a lot of pop ups when you open it to invite you to runs etc but just press the 'x' button and either do a workout or press the massive bright yellow 'free run' button to get straight into a walk/run that you can decide on the speed etc and it doesn't automatically change the speed; if you use one of the workouts it will automatically change the speeds - all in all I love this walking pad and I can see myself using it every single day now as it is so convenient and easy to use so I highly recommend :)

Bought in 2024, and barely used it as I'm too lazy most of the time and had been gathering dust until I finally got on it more regularly this month for 15-30 mins only every other day. While on brisk walking speed (2.7), it suddenly stopped, and I nearly fell. I tried it again and barely 3 mins in, it stopped again, and I regained my balance since I was expecting the sudden stop. I got off the pad and examined it. I figured out that the power inlet (the 3-prong male connector) was loose on the walking pad and that's why it turned off completely each time. I changed power cables but it had the same issue. The vibration while running/walking must have caused the power inlet to loosen and lose contact with the power cable even. I contacted Deerrun support right away, only to be told that the product is out of warranty. I bought this in March 17, 2024 and the support window closed in March 18, 2026. I guess their products only last two years and then malfunctions barely a week after the warranty expires, so that they don't have to help you.

I bought this walking pad after looking for a long time for something that would suit, the delivery time was so fast, only 3 day. It was good value for money and the quality is good. The machine is a bit heavy but there is wheels on the front to help with moving it. Also if your floor is a bit uneven there is adjustable stands at the bottom to even it out, I found these very useful. Not to much noise from is just normal motor noise with the belt turning, it very easy to use, connects to WiFi and Bluetooth, with is handy when using the PitPat app, keep track of all walks/run and even allows you to do daily challenges. I'm enjoying using the walking pad and find time goes quick while using it. I found it to be worth it, couldn't have been more pleased with my purchase.

This fantastic Under Desk Treadmill Walking Pad, is an excellent addition to my home office setup. Its compact and sleek design makes it easy to store away, and it fits perfectly under my desk without taking up much space. Despite its small size, it feels stable and easily supports my weight. The included mobile app is a great touch—it’s not only visually appealing but also allows me to control the treadmill’s speed right from my phone. I love the virtual track feature, where I can race against others online. The remote control is another convenient option for adjusting speed. Much better than other treadmills in this price range! Highly recommended!
