After we moved, we had one of my husband's office chairs in the bedroom while the basement was being finished. He got used to laying his clothes over the chair. When the basement was done and the chair removed he would have to walk through the bathroom to the closet to hang stuff up. It's problematic when someone has just showered and the room is wet/steamy. he didn't want to get wet just to hang up his clothes. I knew he would only do that once before just tossing the clothes on the bed. That's when I looked for this little gem. Most valets are just too big and cumbersome. I wanted something sleek that didn't take up a lot of room. The Wilshine was the answer. I read the reviews and how some say it isn't stable. I don't know what they are hanging on it, but it is very stable, had ALL the necessary hardware/holes and I assembled it in under 6mins. I saw that someone had asked if a lady could use this for blouses and I tried both my small and medium blouses on it and it was perfect. Now an extra small may be another story. For the money, this can not be beat. Not for the design or the simplicity!

Product suits my needs. It was easy to assemble. It could use more weight in the base, otherwise a very nice product.

Not bad. Not great. Too light and tends to tip over easily. The pants rack is behind the jacket hanger resulting in some awkward placement of clothing on it.

5 minutes to put together and seems plenty study enough. I chose this one because: price and Prime tall enough for me - I'm 6'4" and the pants part is high on the rack...so they don't hit the floor. the base is flat...so IF I end up needing it...I can easily throw a book or two on it to stabilize it. (not needed with just a regular suit) I like to air out my suits each night - 30-45 minutes on the stand in front of a fan before they go back in a suit bag until the next wear. (I wear a suit 5 days a week)

This is by no mean sturdy . The tubes are very thin. After two day of use . The tube that connect to the other is starting to split open . Very pool material . Stay away from this . Safe your money . Hope this helps others .

Hood for your money

For years my husband has been hanging his suit over our dining room chair and it drove me crazy so I wanted to get a suit holder that could be in out bedroom that was made such that it does not take up a lot of space and won't wrinkle the suit and this little valet does the job! It's very light and took me about 5 minutes to put together. I was worried that it wouldn't be very sturdy but it has done the job! My husband can now hang his suit properly and I can have my dining room chair back. For the price, this valet does the job and I am very happy with it.
