The light blue came perfectly, all parts functioning correctly. I am very happy with this purchase. The light purple one seems to have a small defect in manufacturing in that the cutter tip is not secure to the body of the scissors. I can see a tiny dent in the plastic that would have secured the cutter tip. I am easily able to separate the two pieces, making it difficult to use the cutter tip. It is not worth returning, so I will keep the entire thing. I will mostly be using the scissors portion for my knitting and crocheting project bags to take on the go.The colors are soft, and lovely.
