Despite being inexpensive, it works perfectly—bright enough for reading or desk work and stable on the table. It doesn’t feel flimsy at all, which is a nice bonus for such a budget-friendly lamp. Absolutely brilliant! It's quite small - the flexible stalk the lamp head sits on is only eight inches long - but it suits me very well. It is well made and heavy enough to sit securely on my desk. You can twist the stalk into any number of contortions. The bulb it takes can by bought very cheaply. And I prefer the minimalist look to the over-engineered anglepoise contraptions, which never seem to adjust as you would want.

This lamp is perfect for a bedside table, with its flexible arm you can adjust the height and angle to whatever you want and makes reading in bed a doddle. The on / off switch on the lamps base is very useful and means you are not fumbling around looking for a switch. I ordered the Onyx Black colour, however the lamp comes in a range of colours, to suit almost any room decor. It comes with a UK mains plug and you'll need a E14 SES nine watt LED candle bulb as the lamp is supplied without a bulb. Overall this is an excellent product. Five stars.

I bought this lamp for my home office and I have to say that overall, I am very pleased with it. This lamp definitley ticks a lot of boxes if you are looking for a simple but reliable lighting solution. What I like: The neck is flexible and lets me position the light exactly where i need it which is extremely helpful for me. I use it for work since it is winter and gets dark early, but the flexible neck makes it perfect for when I do my reading, studying and crafts. It is compact and effective and feels sturdy enough for everyday use. The integral on/off switch on the base is super convenient. There is no fumbling for a cord switch. This is one of my favorite things about this lamp. I don't have to reach over to try find the switch. It’s lightweight and unobtrusive, so it fits well on a desk or bedside table without taking up much space. A few things to know: A bulb is not included! You need a E14 Bulb. (I got a LED one for energy-saving) I noticed that some of the reviewers outside the UK said that international plug compatibility is not clear but for all UK buyers, it is fine and ready to use. I can confidently say that this lamp is perfect for students, casual desk workers, hobbyists or just anyone who is after an affordable, flexible light source that gets the job done. Overall, this lamp is a solid purchase for its price point — basic, reliable, and flexible enough for everyday use.

I really love the design of this lamp. From an aesthetic point of view it's nothing special but for usability it's excellent. In particular - You can angle it in such a way that you don't ever have to stare at the bulb (most lamps fail on this abysmally, with lamp "shades" that don't shade the bulb from view in any way) - You can use it for reading - You can use it as an uplighter - It's sturdy and holds its position and does so really easily - The switch is always accessible and you can flip it single handed (inline switches on cords here fail and for what? So you don't have to look at the switch? Being able to see the switch is actually a huge benefit) As a gay man, I don't use the ceiling lights in my home so I've bought one of these for every room

Good value, good delivery and works as an inconspicuous corner lamp.
