(For MacBook Pro Model A1286, 17 inch Laptop with 15 inch Screen, Mid 2009 Model). This new replacement runs SO MUCH COOLER than my original Apple 85W MagSafe Power Adapter (Model A1290, Copyright 2009, Input:100-240V, 1.5A, 50-60Hz, Output: 16.5-18.5V, 4.6Max). The "L" shaped MagSafe connector fits perfectly into my Mac's MagSafe Port even though my original had a "T" shaped connector of which I was very worried about it being compatible, but, it works great, charges up to 100% with no problem !!! I am SO HAPPY because if this didn't work, I would have had to buy a new Mac which ain't cheap !!!
